We have to get back to the Word of God. 😔😞
So much has been and is being stolen from the body of Christ because we have not loved God’s word…and God has “magnified His word above his name” Psalm 138:2.
We love prayers…we love praise… as we should… but in the absence of loving God’s word as much, we will both pray and praise amiss…

Proverbs 13:12 says that hope deferred makes the heart sick.
This Valentine’s Day, not everyone has a Babe…
Not everyone who has a Babe has one that has been kind or faithful that they want to celebrate…
Not everyone wants a Babe…
Not everyone is even in the state of mind to think of a Babe because of other issues they’re facing…
In talking with, and hearing some things people are going through, even I have been a bit more quiet lately just praying for the grace not to feel overwhelmed while wondering how others are making it through… especially those without Jesus.
Ultimately, as I always will, I go to my Lord and King Jesus Christ and rest in Him. And I do my best to encourage others around me. That is my ministry. The Gospel, and trying to find ways to encourage people.
Anyway, my Valentine day song release this year is one of hope. I feel if people lose hope, life is easier to be lost. So I want to be a disseminator of hope.
Omo Iya means “mother’s child” and I’m simply addressing people in general. Everyone born has been born of a mother so it’s basically a phrase of endearment to those around me.
And the message is hope.
Believing that we have Jesus Christ, God who is greater than the entire world and all its troubles, we can have hope.
So grab not just a Babe’s hand…
but a brother, a sister, an aunt, an uncle, a neighbor, a co-worker, someone… and move a bit in hope today.
Let’s normalize telling those around us that we love them a lot and mean it.
So they can hope. And love. And live again.
From the Bae-ful to the Bae-less.
Let’s make it a day of not just of the often overemphasized Eros which is only meant for marriage, but Storge, Philia and most of all, Agape.
Omo iya Mi, don’t cry anymore.
We serve a God who is greater than the world.
Jesus can handle it all.
Out on iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube…

** MIAMI/FT. LAUDERDALE **A night of TEACHING and WORSHIP with the prophetic psalmist - Nathaniel Bassey! The Rebuilding Of The Tabernacle of David (Acts 15:16-17) is about coming back to the why you were given your sound as a minstrel. The Davidic sound delivers (1 Samuel 16:23), prophesy (1 Chronicles 25:1 AMP) and reveals (Psalm 49:1). #NathanielBassey #Miami #FortLauderdale #Gospeleventsinmiami #gospeleventsinsouthflorida

I love & appreciate producers. They’re geniuses. They help make your music vision come to fruition & their work should never be under-appreciated.
That being said, if I always had to rely on others to put out music, I’d have only a fraction of music put out today than I have. And no, I’m not saying quantity is quality, but God gracing me to do certain things by myself like recording my own vocals, pre-producing many of my own songs prior to sending it to professional producers, & learning to work in a DAW (logic being my preference cos it’s logical ☺️) helped me significantly.
I remember meeting people & thinking “oh my God, this is it!” This person will help me fulfill my music vision & bring my dreams to reality. Then something would go wrong… they would start charging more than I could afford because they knew I was desperate to put out the content God constantly gives me, they may have other things going on in their lives & get too busy for my pace, they’d get bigger fish to fry, or wouldn’t listen to what I was asking for musically because they thought I didn’t know enough about music or what I wanted…
So I’m grateful for several things:
1. God literally telling me a few years ago through a man of God that “He would NOT give me anything else until I started using the gifts and skills He had already given me.” Shocker! 😳 👀
2. I thank God for my amazing hubby Mr. Ololufe @seyialesh who from day 1 has said, “Babe, learn some of this thing so you won’t be stranded. You have a lot on the inside.” 😏I remember some of our dates before getting married were going to Samash music stores & testing out new gear…or renting a rehearsal space for jam sessions!… 😂🥹🥰
3. I thank God for provision. I haven’t really been “rich” rich monetarily, but one thing I’ve always been fortunate to do is spend resources on my purpose.
So this is my travel set up. It’s what makes my backpack heavy (Sorry protocol 😂) Cos even if I’m not home, I can still create.
I urge you to utilize your time as much as possible. No one will be as passionate about your vision as you. Learn. Start. You can do it.
Perfection will come later with help. But there must be something to help…

1. Smile, yes.
But not till you’re not taken seriously.
You are here for important things.
2. If you’re not invited to the table, be grateful. God is about to make your own. Sit. There is more.
3. Value friendships. The real ones… no man is an island.
4. Love everyone. Love genuinely and deeply. Agape to Phileo.
Trust God alone.
5. Speak less, listen more.
Pay attention to nuances. Watch, pray.
6. Be original, be unbothered. Be what God called you to be without fear or doubt.
No one else can You like you will.
7. Care, think, feel, but pray most of all. The heart is deceptive. Wisdom is profitable to direct and God is willing.
8. Stand, be still, walk with purpose. You are called; you are chosen.
9. Your time is important. Teach others to value it as you do. You’re here once. And God expects an account.
10. God is your everything. It doesn’t matter what they say at the end of the day. Is Jesus pleased?

Just read both slides and hear whatever it is God is saying to you specifically… in your situation.
Nevertheless, the message is this:
Righteousness is STILL what is expected…
1 Peter 1:14-15
“As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct”
