Been hunting Mothim for the past week on my full odds file, and decided to kick over to a spare to dual hunt Heracross from MMO's. Wound up finding this lil cutie today (sadly not full odds), and am hoping to catch at least one of my targets by the end of the week 🤩🙏.

Hey y'all, gonna be putting on my serious face for this one.

So, for those of you who know, I recently released my Safari Week video. I put a lot of heart into making it and nobody (but me) watched it, which leads me to speculate that either;

a) y'all aren't a fan of my long form videos, or
b) I've been shadow banned by YouTube

And it's not just paranoia on my part about that second option, because from what I've been hearing, MULTIPLE channels who post faceless commentary videos (like me), are being targeted by YouTube's A.I system and deemed as "slop content", and thus getting pushed COMPLETELY out of the algorithm where none of y'all can see my content anymore.

This has left me pretty depressed, as you may think, because while it may not look like it at first glance, I DO put my heart and soul into making these videos so I can share my adventures with you. In fact, I was excited to start work on my next adventure, a Route Quest challenge of Let's Go Eevee, but if YouTube is just gonna decide to toss me into the Shadow Realm where I'll never be seen, then I see no reason as to even attempt it (at least for now).

So what am I gonna do moving forward? Well, I'm no longer going to be posting commentary videos like my Safari Week one unless they're live commentated (like my DA Weekend one). I'll also be shifting towards posting shiny clips, with the long term goal being the completion of each games respective Pokedex. I've already begun progress on my Legends Arceus one, and will begin posting my progress towards that starting tomorrow. I'll try to post two videos a day just to clear out the clips I already have, and once that's done we'll see where I go from there.

Sorry I have to post this. I really don't like having to talk about things like this, but I want to be open about what I'm feeling and why my content is about to take a sudden turn in direction. Hopefully y'all can understand and enjoy the ride regardless 😕.
