Bhavatharana depicts the nexus of Buddhism, politics and egoistic human instincts. The storyline creatively weaves between past and present concept of crossing over samsara.

Pulasthi a nature activist , suffers from a mental condition of dreaming ,a series of scattered visions which depicts pass incidents during kandyan kindom, a coup against the monarch. He makes way to search the reality, in which he discovers the real meaning of life.
