I’m Brenda—a Gen Xer choosing an alternative way of life with my best friend, Ranger, my German Shepherd, by my side.

I believe in simple living, living with less, and collecting experiences instead of things. Give me dirt, a quiet forest, a trail to explore, and Ranger beside me, and I’m home.

One of my biggest dreams is to hike the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. 🥾 It’s not about being the fastest—it’s about grit, adventure, and having the courage to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Here you’ll find simple living, camping, hiking, life on wheels, Ranger adventures, and plenty of dirt along the way.

I didn't know until the end of the video things could go so wrong. It all started so happy and then such a heartbreak. No One Ever, wants to have someones pet pass away while in their care. It happened to me! I'm still not over the guilt of this happening on my watch.
