Brief Garden Update:
The garden has for the most part been harvested. The shallots have been cured and mostly used for ramen. The broccoli has been destroyed by pests, save for a single crown. The beans provided many nights of dinner. Spices have been dried, tomatoes have been sauced, and peppers have been pickled. All that's left are the luffas, which have gotten massive.
I've recently installed 2 new raised beds. The plan is the plant shallots in one of them over the winter. The wooden box has been moved to the front yard, where we will do a tea garden, or flower bed. Speaking of front yard, we grew sunflowers this year, and a few weeks ago, I saw a goldfinch munching on the seeds. So that's pretty neat.
The plan is to make more garden vlogs next year. I make them mostly for my friends and family to see, but if anyone else out there likes them, I'd consider that a nice bonus.
