Merian is an Australian-Indian independent singer-songwriter, lyricist, composer, and producer creating cinematic pop and Punjabi folk-pop rooted in storytelling, emotion, and atmosphere.
Blending Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu influences with contemporary production, Merian's music explores love, longing, trust, distance, memory, and human connection through immersive soundscapes and deeply personal songwriting.
Writing, composing, producing, and mixing her own music, she creates songs that feel intimate, cinematic, and emotionally timeless while drawing inspiration from Punjabi folk traditions, indie pop, and modern South Asian music.
