For now, I have a question that I'd love some feedback on.
I'm considering making a second channel for the more topic-focused philosophical video essays, and keeping this channel focused exclusively on dark fiction. I know most of you have come recently and don't resonate as much with the essay-style videos, but I figured I'd ask for yall's opinion on this! That's not to say this channel will not get essays, but they'll be longer analyses focused on dark fiction, rather than whatever other topic I'm enchanted by.
To be clear, low subscriber interest in those videos means the algorithm heavily deprioritizes them, so moving them to a channel with a more interested audience will mean they are more likely to reach the intended audience.

Disturbing books are coming next, as you all voted, and I'll be prioritizing those videos for a while! Comment the books you want to see most, though the next batch is mostly set already. In the meantime, this video might tide you over. Truly some harrowing stuff, but everyone seems to be enjoying it so far!
So, the next two videos will be on extremely disturbing music, and then a more focused thematic analysis of the movie Carved. Afterwards, there are a couple avenues I could go down, and I wanted to see what you all wanted most. I'll list a few options here, but if there's anything else you really, really want, feel free to share in the comments!
These were just my next priorities, but I have many ideas for many different topics and genres and types of media, so don't feel constrained by these options.

More extreme/disturbing horror (Crossed, Tender Is The Flesh, They All Died Screaming, etc) 4. Science/philosophy behind Toxoplasma Gondii, the parasite that changes you
These are just for the immediate future. Videos on movies, books (comics and manga included), and games (visual novels included) will continue to come, with the occasional philosophy/science video sprinkled in.
If you have any specific requests, please add them here! I can't promise anything, but I'd love to hear your thoughts! Both videos or specific pieces of media that you'd like to see are welcome!
