I created this channel simply to share a hobby of mine; that being demonstrating some basic experiments with inexpensive consumer grade wind turbines and related equipment. Over the last year I've grown and branched out a little into some "not so inexpensive" equipment, as well as playing with some of my other hobbies. I hope my viewers, those who came for the cheap wind turbine tinkerings, don't mind the occasional expensive turbine and motorcycle or any of my other toys I hope to show off. It's all meant to be fun, they're all my toys, and I hope everyone who watches enjoys what I do!

I love making my own stuff...to the point of genuine aggravation when I have to hire something out...but it was just better to do so here. This is the stub for the Heli 4.0. The pipe is 4.5 inches OD and the plate is 5/8", my welder just wasn't up for it. I also didn't have a good way to cut it. It took me all weekend to whittle the top flange out so I can drill the holes. I had my favorite shop cut the middle disk and do the welding.

If any of my followers here might be interested I'm selling this 12v Missouri Wind PMA...just the PMA. With a 2~2.5m three blade rotor it could make a decent 500w turbine. If you're in the United States I can let it go for $150usd shipped.
