🛑 Don't let a "Ghost from the Past" block your website! 👻

A few years ago, my website was hacked. It was a nightmare, but I worked hard to get it fixed, cleaned, and back to a totally clean slate.

So imagine my panic when I tried to visit my domain recently and saw this scary warning (Image 1). I was terrified that all my customers were seeing this and that my business was in trouble all over again!

The Good News: My site wasn't hacked again. It turns out, Spectrum’s Security Shield was just "remembering" the old issues from years ago and blocking the domain on my home network.

If you are seeing this "Suspicious Site Blocked" page on your own site, here is how I fixed it in 60 seconds:

✅ How to fix it for yourself:
Open the My Spectrum App on your phone.

Go to Services > Internet > Your Router.

Find Security Shield and toggle it OFF.

Refresh your site (Image 2)—it should load perfectly!

Pro Tip: You can toggle it back ON after it loads. Usually, this "resets" the gatekeeper.

🌎 How to fix it for your customers:
While the app fix works for you, you want to make sure other Spectrum customers don't see the warning either. Submit your URL to their official review team to get whitelisted: 👉 Spectrum Website Block Verification Form: www.spectrum.net/support/forms/verify_url_security
