Shoutout to @HofmannScores if you are not already subscribed to him please do! He is 9 subscribers off 1k as this post is being created! It's worth your while if you love old school art!
Claimed he had an old recording of Hofmann, which was actually a recording of Lang Lang's Polonaise with static added in the background.
Before I could officially call him out, someone noticed the piano sounded modern and commented it on the video he posted. The aftermath was him making the video private and failing, losing all credibility once again in trying to dismantle the old school of piano playing. He literally sent the recording on youtube of Lang by Anthony Sin, trying to pass it off as a rare Hofmann recording, then later deleted his own comment after he realized his foolish tricks wouldn't work.
If he can provide evidence of it being Hofmann, I am still open and happy to admit I'm wrong because it would make me look quite foolish calling him out like this and being mistaken. Or, if he hides in obscurity he will know that he failed and looks dumb.
So what will it be, will you unprivate the video Mr. Kingold and prove me wrong, admit defeat with grace, or run like a coward?
Please check out this excellent video as well debunking modern critics taste on Opera.
There is a similar decline in the public's taste in Opera and I think it is essential to check out not only this video, but, many of the other ones that this channel posted demonstrating the problems with modern verismo singers, who don't have a sense for bel canto.
Bel Canto is one of the most essential elements in music, and for it to be neglected and killed like this, is an absolute disgrace and we need people like this to revive the traditions of the past.
There is no errors such as rating Pollini above Busoni, Pires above Hofmann, Uchida over Rachmaninoff.
These are absolutely ridiculous errors and must be rectified as I did here, as soon as I saw this video. I had to defend the golden age of pianism, inorder to lead people astray from soulless and sterlie museum playing.

I play here in this online recital.
I had the flu while playing and only took one take, but, I promise for next one I will do something better.
