A Texas native, Michael's musical journey began early with drums at age two, cello, and choir by fifth grade, and guitar at 13. Mentored by Paul Baloche during his teens, he honed his craft and developed his unique style. After moving to Southern Oregon in 2008, he met bassist Mike Pugh and collaborated in bands like Southern Gunns, 2nd Amendment, and Sylent Storm. In 2020, he founded The Brisbane Project, embracing his blues roots. Following a brief stint with a Led Zeppelin tribute band, Michael refocused on The Brisbane Project in 2023, continuing to innovate and inspire in the blues genre.
