In "Don't Count Me Out," Rev. Lettie reminds us that our past failures, painful experiences, losses, and the expectations others place on us do not determine our future. Through the biblical examples of Ephraim and his daughter Sheerah, she shows that God calls His people to rebuild, keep moving forward, and remain productive even after seasons of sorrow and trauma.
The message emphasizes that struggles are not meant to destroy us but to strengthen us. Just as a butterfly must struggle to emerge from the cocoon, God can use pain, disappointment, and adversity to develop greater strength and purpose within us.
Rev. Lettie challenges believers not to give up when the enemy whispers that nothing good lies ahead. Instead, we are encouraged to press on with hope, knowing that God has plans for our lives and that there is life beyond loss and disappointment.
