Recently there was a grand re-union of my old school friends. I enjoyed meeting my childhood buddies. But I noticed something surprising. Those who earned the most money or reached the highest positions didn't look very happy. Some looked tired, stressed, or disconnected from their families. On the other hand, some classmates who chose simpler careers like teaching, social work, or working in NGOs — appeared more content and peaceful, even though they earned much less. After the event I started my book hunt on this observation. And I stumbled upon this wonderful book.
