A recent finished painting based on some of the animals I have seen in my dreams or those at least that left a significant impression on me from the dream.

A whale, a Chinese white energy dragon, a golden falcon, all from my dreams.

The little eastern blue bird sitting on the tail of the whale is a bird that I have been seeing on my nature walks.

All of these somehow seem to be related to the energies for 2024. Wisdom, renewal, rebirth, strength….going within.

A poem inspired by the art:

Inner worlds,
help me to discover,
The soul that sleeps undercover,
Inner worlds,
Bring me to the surface,
To become truth,
To discover purpose.

Stumbling through life fast asleep,
Struggling to keep the mask intact,
Reached a bottom so deep,
Am I Ready to face the ultimate fact?

Is it darkness that I see? Or,
Is it light seeping into trauma?
Pulling the rug underneath running feet,
Seeking within to discover Brahma.

Inner worlds,
You helped me see,
The soul that swims in emotions deep,
Inner worlds,
You showed me up above,
Embodying truth,
Becoming love.

New painting start - Merge

This morning I did a quick meditation. I sat down in my quiet spot, before coffee and before food, just me and my buzzing head full of too many thoughts, and I tried to clear my head. Lasted about 15-20 min. In that moment when I was done, I was not sure whether it did anything for me. Maybe I was out of practice, maybe I tried too hard, or maybe I need to stop thinking, but what I am realizing is that a lot of my creative ideas for art come from the meditation sessions. Maybe not directly from the meditation itself, but it helps me clear my head from too many 3D thoughts and connect with my spirit. After this quick meditation, I decided I would paint something today. Something small, something quick and without much thought.

My latest piece below inspired by a personal journey…

“In the field of quantum mechanics there is something called quantum entanglement. It is what happens when 2 particles interact, vibrate in unison and are separated. They remain connected by something that defies logic, something science has yet to explain. If one particle vibrates, no matter the distance, the other particle reacts in unison. Even if there are oceans between them, even if there is a universe separating them.

Before time we were just a dense collection of particles confined to a space smaller than a proton, interacting and moving in unison. An event occurred that rapidly expanded the particles and created the universe. There is no reason to believe the particles ever lost their entanglement.

Now, when I say I am drawn to you, that I feel I have known you since the beginning of time, know that it’s beyond my control. Know there are particles that compose me, my very fabric of being, and somewhere inside of you are the particles mine danced with millions of years ago.
