We are a team of women artisans from rural Bengal who are committed to reviving the Textile heritage of Bengal. Our products are handcrafted with love and intricate craftsmanship.
Ka-pore started its journey with a vision to uplift the women artisans of rural Bengal. At Ka-pore, we believe that there is no beauty in clothes unless we appreciate the makers behind them.
We are a team of 500 rural women artisans and a small design team dedicated to creating new designs and products while reviving and taking inspiration from traditional textile techniques present in the handloom history of India. All our products are handcrafted and manufactured in handlooms using locally manufactured natural fibers, thus promoting conscious products which are sustainable for the environment.
All our products are handmade with precision and craftsmanship that will slowly dissipate unless we make an effort to restore them and that is what makes our six yards timeless.
