Tree-mendous Opportunity for Cauvery Basin Farmers!🌱🌳🌊



Isha's #CauveryCalling initiative conducted a tree-based agriculture training for nearly 450 farmers in the Hassan district of Karnataka, which is part of the Cauvery river basin. Farmers learned how to maximize yields and income from experienced farmers like Smt. Hema Ananth (coconut and timber plantation), Dr. Rama Krishna Hegde (scientific methods to adopt pre and post plantation), Shri. Dayananda (teak integration with crops) among others. #treebasedagriculture #savesoil
