Early this morning my one-week suspension from YouTube was lifted. Yes, friends, I have been paroled from YouTube Jail. My crime? “Cyberbullying.” The victims? Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. That’s right—I am now officially recognized as the cyberbully of two nuclear-armed world leaders. Put that on my flippin’ résumé. The offending upload was my last video, Trump & Putin’s Big Alaska Adventure. It was just starting to go viral after 40 hours online when YouTube dropped the hammer. I scrambled, re-edited, and reposted a “Re-do”—but in my haste, I botched the sound sync. Yanked it mid-premiere, fixed it, and re-uploaded. That’s when YouTube sent me a notification saying the new version was also pulled (spoiler: it wasn’t). I guess YT got confused, but regardless, I got slapped with a 7-day suspension.
Now, my longtime viewers know that cartoonish demises and goofy unrealistic slapstick violence are kind of my bread and butter. So why now, all of a sudden, am I Public Enemy #1? My best guess: I’ve been put on a watchlist. A band of professional right wingnut tattletales lurk in the shadows, mass-reporting my videos the moment I post them. This usually happens right when the channel starts to grow—views up, subs up, haters mobilize. So yeah, not my first rodeo. But this one stings: first strike = 1 week suspension, second strike = 2 weeks, third strike = lights out for Scared Ketchup on YouTube.
Which brings me to my big comeback clip: 'Gavin Newsom is Dark Woke' drops TODAY (Tuesday) at 2:30 PM PST. It’s a mash-up of the best “Newsom dunks on Trump” memes brought to life (so to speak), plus a bunch of my original chicanery, all animated and set to a track I whipped up with the sweet flavor of vintage Beck meets Beastie Boys meets Offspring meets Hamilton by way of Eminem. I even added a cheeky disclaimer to try and outsmart the ban hammer—but hey, if I disappear for another two weeks, you’ll know why. OMG! This video is cursed! Some of you know that my latest video "Trump & Putin's Big Alaskan Adventure" was removed after going viral, when MAGA took issue with a little scene where Don & Pootie crash their jet skis. Well, I fixed it and put up the re-do but the sound was off, so now I’m trying again (it goes up at 4pm) but damn, are the Gods trying to tell me something? TRUMP HAD MY LATEST VIDEO REMOVED FROM YOUTUBE

Before I begin my little diatribe (oh, it’s coming), I’d like to politely ask anyone reading this to join my Patreon:

You can sign up for free, or toss me a few bucks a month. Totally your call. I mention this because, once again, I’m not sure how long I’ll actually survive here on YouTube. It seems the powers that be are sharpening their banhammers and pointing them squarely in my direction.

Okay, rant time. Strap in.

First off, the headline here is a tad misleading; YouTube doesn’t actually tell you who reported your video. So, let’s skip straight to the facts:

* At 6:30 AM this morning, YouTube removed my video “Trump and Putin’s BIG Alaska Adventure.”
* The stated reason: “cyberbullying.”
* The video had been up since Friday and was closing in on 200,000 views, my best launch ever.
* It had racked up 10,000+ likes and over 1,000 comments, with the feedback being 99% positive. (The other 1% was mostly people mad I didn’t give Putin a better swimsuit.)
* The flagged scene? Trump and Putin riding jet skis. Their watercraft bump into each other, there’s a quick *poof* explosion, and suddenly—no more Trump, no more Putin, no more jet skis. Just a calm ocean.

Now, I’ve built my reputation on cartoonish parody sequences where certain public figures sometimes meet a wacky, implied demise. ACME anvils, banana peels of destiny, jet ski kabooms—you name it. So for YouTube to single THIS one out as cyberbullying? Troubling. Like, *red flag for anyone who believes in free speech* troubling.

So, how did this happen? Why did this happen? A couple possibilities:

* Maybe someone from the Trump camp, the Putin camp, or the joint “World’s Saddest Bromance” PR team complained.
* Or maybe an organized group mass-reported the video under the rule about “reveling in or mocking the death or serious injury of an identifiable individual.”

Here’s the kicker: that doesn’t even apply.
There’s no blood, no bodies, no funeral dirge swelling in the background. Just two men and their jet skis vanished. Who’s to say they didn’t simply get submerged, share a romantic underwater smooch, and swim to safety? Who’s to say??

I have appealed the decision—but let’s be honest, YouTube doesn’t allow for an actual rebuttal. They just re-watch the clip, shrug, and say, “Yep, still looks like a problem.”

So here’s where we’re at:

* I’ll be making some edits to the video and reposting it shortly.
* It won’t get the same rocket-boost momentum as the original (RIP, sweet algorithm juice).
* But it’s important to me to keep it online as a record of what happened, both the parody itself and the censorship around it.

Hey kids,
I know I’ve been a little quiet lately — but don’t worry, I haven’t been abducted by aliens or ICE… yet. I’ve been cooking up something big. On Friday, I’ll be dropping my most ambitious (and possibly my favorite) music video yet. It’s another wild collaboration with the inimitable @patmfitz, and it just so happens to land right as Trump drops in to Alaska for his little powwow with Putin. The official title? "Trump & Putin’s Big Adventure – From Epstein Island to Alaska". Yeah… you might want to pre-hydrate for this one. I’m not spilling all the beans (I love a good surprise), but I will say this: it’s gotta good dance and you can beat to it. Once again, giant thanks to everyone who shared childhood memories and thoughts. Your comments have been warm, fun and totally inspiring. I’ve loved reading them all. At the moment, I’m on Day 4 of a 5-day road trip with the kids (a.k.a. “The Packets”), which has been equal parts emotional pilgrimage and survival reality show. Yesterday, I finally secured my birth certificate, confirming that I am, in fact, a real boy, and not just a sophisticated AI designed to drop Youtube blogs from the driver’s seat of a Dodge Ram rental.
Highlights of the journey so far:
• Two nights in eerily identical Best Westerns with décor from the “tan-on-tan” collection
• Three nights in a surprisingly delightful Berkeley Marina hotel with classic SF Bay fog banks, and a suspiciously cheerful front desk woman with a seemingly endless supply of incredible free chocolate chip cookies.
• Two dramatic crossings of the Golden Gate Bridge accompanied by impromptu kid commentary like: “It’s not even gold.”
• Repeated drive-bys of my birthplace, which stirred deep feelings in me and loud yawns in the back seat
• 34 hours behind the wheel listening to playlists chosen by people who believe frogs can be EDM artists
• And more Doordash’d pesto rigatoni than any human digestive system should ever endure. (The packets declared it “the best restaurant in the Bay Area” after refusing to try literally any other restaurant in the Bay Area) If the gods allow, I’ll be back in the video chair by late tomorrow afternoon — sore, bloated, and approximately 80% cookies and pasta.

While I haven’t had a chance to reply to everyone’s brilliant comments just yet, I did want to take a moment to respond to one from @Coolestmovies — a creator I’m actually subbed to and genuinely enjoy — who I think may have slightly misread the vibe of my original post. No shade, just setting the record straight with affection, wit, and a screenshot
