لا شك أن الأمور الإيجابية تبقى إيجابية ونفرح لها، وهذا في حد ذاته شيء محمود. غير أن جوهر مهمة الصحافة هو الإشارة إلى مواطن الخلل قصد إصلاحها. أما التركيز على الإيجابيات وحدها وتجاهل السلبيات، فهو يقترب أكثر من الدعاية منه إلى العمل الصحفي الحقيقي.

رسالة الصحفي الفلسطيني أنس الشريف (يبدو أنه كتبها أوائل إبريل الماضي)، قبل أن يستهدفه الإحتلال الإسرائيلي هو و زميله في قصف على خيمتهم في غزة في العاشر من غشت 2025.
قتل الإحتلال الإسرائيلي المئات من الصحفيين منذ بدأ حرب الإبادة على غزة.

Ceci est mon testament et mon dernier message.
Si ces mots vous parviennent, sachez qu’Israël a réussi à me tuer et à faire taire ma voix.
Que la paix, la miséricorde et les bénédictions de Dieu soient sur vous dès le début.

Dieu sait combien j’ai tout donné, de toutes mes forces, pour être un pilier pour les fils de mon peuple. Depuis que j’ai ouvert les yeux sur la vie dans les ruelles et les quartiers du camp de réfugiés de Jabalia, j’espérais que Dieu prolongerait ma vie jusqu’à ce que je puisse retourner avec ma famille et mes proches dans notre ville natale d’Asqalan, l’occupée, la glorieuse. Mais la volonté de Dieu était antérieure, et Son décret s’est accompli.

J’ai vécu la douleur dans tous ses détails, j’ai ressenti maintes fois la souffrance et la perte. Pourtant, je n’ai jamais cessé un seul jour de transmettre la vérité telle qu’elle est, sans falsification ni déformation. Puisse Dieu être témoin de ceux qui se sont tus et de ceux qui ont fermé leurs cœurs face à notre massacre, qui n’ont pas bougé pour protéger nos enfants et nos femmes, qui sont restés indifférents et n’ont pas arrêté le massacre qui frappe notre peuple depuis plus d’un an et demi.

Je vous recommande de chérir la Palestine, joyau de la couronne des musulmans, battement de cœur de chaque être libre dans ce monde.
Je vous recommande de prendre soin de ses gens et de ses enfants opprimés, ces petits innocents à qui l’on n’a pas laissé le temps de rêver, de vivre dans la paix et la sécurité.

Car leurs corps purs ont été écrasés sous des milliers de tonnes de bombes et de missiles israéliens, se sont dispersés et leurs membres se sont éparpillés, accrochés aux murs.
Je vous recommande de ne pas laisser les chaînes vous réduire au silence, et de ne pas laisser les frontières vous limiter.
Soyez courageux et déterminés pour libérer le pays et ses habitants, jusqu’à ce que le soleil de la dignité et de la liberté se lève sur notre patrie meurtrie.
Je confie mes chers proches à la bonté de Dieu.

Je vous confie la prunelle de mes yeux, ma chère fille Cham, que les jours ne m’ont pas permis de voir grandir comme je l’avais rêvé.

Je vous confie mon cher fils Salah, dont j’avais souhaité la compagnie jusqu’à son retour, afin qu’il porte mon fardeau et poursuive le message.

Je vous confie ma chère mère, dont la bénédiction m’est parvenue avant même ses mains, dont les prières étaient ma forteresse, ma lumière et mon guide.
Je prie Dieu de fortifier son cœur et de la récompenser de la meilleure des manières en mon nom.

Je vous confie aussi ma compagne de toujours, mon épouse bien-aimée, la mère de Salah, Bayan, que la guerre a contrainte à de longues séparations pendant des jours et des mois, mais qui est restée fidèle à son serment, debout telle un olivier qui ne ploie pas, patiente et endurante avec foi, portant la responsabilité en mon absence avec toute sa force et sa conviction.

Je vous recommande de ne pas abandonner leurs rêves, et d’être pour eux un soutien après Dieu, le Tout-Puissant.

Si je meurs, je mourrai fidèle à mon principe, témoignant que je suis satisfait de la volonté de Dieu, croyant à Sa rencontre et convaincu que ce qui est auprès de Dieu est meilleur et éternel.

Ô Seigneur, accepte-moi parmi les martyrs, pardonne-moi mes péchés passés et futurs, fais de mon sang une lumière qui éclaire le chemin de la liberté pour mon peuple et ma famille.

Pardonnez-moi si j’ai failli, implorez pour moi la miséricorde, car je suis resté fidèle à mon engagement, sans jamais changer ni trahir.

N’oubliez pas Gaza…
Et ne m’oubliez pas dans vos pieuses prières pour le pardon et l’acceptation.

This is my will and my final message.
If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice.
May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you from the very beginning.

God knows how much I gave, with all my strength, to be a pillar for the sons of my people. Since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of Jabalia refugee camp, I hoped that God would prolong my life so I could return with my family and loved ones to our original hometown, occupied and glorious Asqalan. But God’s will was prior, and His decree prevailed.

I have lived through pain in all its details, tasting sorrow and loss many times. Yet, I never stopped, not for a single day, conveying the truth as it is — without falsification or distortion. May God bear witness against those who stayed silent, those whose hearts closed to our slaughter, who did not move to protect our children and women, who remained indifferent and did not stop the massacre that has been afflicting our people for more than a year and a half.

I urge you to cherish Palestine, the jewel of the crown of Muslims, the heartbeat of every free soul in this world.
I urge you to care for its people and its oppressed children — those little ones who were not given the chance to dream, to live in peace and safety.

For their pure bodies were crushed under thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and missiles, torn apart, and their limbs scattered, clinging to walls.
I urge you not to let the chains silence you, nor let the borders limit you.
Be bold and determined toward liberating the land and the people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our wounded homeland.
I entrust my good people to God’s care.

I entrust you with the apple of my eye, my beloved daughter Sham, whom the days have not granted me the chance to watch grow as I had dreamed.

I entrust you with my dear son Salah, whose companionship I wished to have until his return, so he may carry my burden and complete the mission.

I entrust you with my dear mother, whose blessing reached me even before her hands could, whose prayers were my fortress, my light, and my guide.
I pray to God to bind her heart and reward her on my behalf with the best reward.

I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my beloved wife, the mother of Salah, Bayan, who was tested with the separation that war imposed for long days and months, yet she remained true to her vow, standing like an olive tree that never bends, patiently enduring with faith, carrying the trust in my absence with all her strength and conviction.

I urge you not to abandon their dreams, and to be their support after God Almighty.

If I die, then I die steadfast in my principles, testifying that I am content with God’s will, believing in meeting Him, and certain that what is with God is better and everlasting.

O Lord, accept me among the martyrs, forgive me for my past and future sins, make my blood a light that illuminates the path of freedom for my people and my family.

Forgive me if I fell short, have mercy on me, for I have stayed true to my promise, never changing, never replacing.
Do not forget Gaza…
And do not forget me in your sincere prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.
