Today is the 5 year anniversary of the beginning of the Pack.PNG seed-finding project! On this exact day 5 years ago, I uploaded my first video about trying to find the origin to this iconic image. Little did I know how much attention and support this project would receive. Not to mention all the pack.png references/appearances and the overall affect this image would have on the Minecraft community. It's just crazy that it's been this long since this all started. Thank you to everyone that's been there from the beginning.

I'm currently piecing together a retrospective video about the entire project and the fallout from it that should be released soon. If there were things in my original Pack.PNG videos that you think I didn't talk about enough or just completely missed, please let me know. Also if you or saw someone else do anything extremely cool with Pack.PNG, tell me! This will likely be my final video about the Pack.PNG project so this is your last chance to give me your input!

In my last video, I presented a challenge to improve one of the redstone builds I showed off. Someone by the name of Nitolite absolutely blew my initial expectations away with his creation. He improved the redstone calculator I showed in the video by adding multiplication and allowing for double-digit inputs and quadruple digit results. Go watch the video, download the map, and show him some love, because this build is extremely impressive!

WE DID IT!!!

Thanks to the help of YOU, 2b2t has officially REVERSED the item economy reset and chunk culling! We can now fully enjoy the 1.19 update without 2b2t history being erased.We created enough noise to spark significant change on 2b2t that has NEVER been done in the history of the server. Thank you all.

In regards to my status of playing and making videos on 2b2t, I will likely be putting that on hold for at least a few months. After all this drama, I'd rather be making videos about other Minecraft-related subjects for now. But like I said in my original 2b2t video about this subject, I will be returning to the server, with caution of course.

Thought I should make a follow-up post to my last video regarding the state Minecraft's oldest server, Minecraft Online.

A few days ago, MCO has finally updated their hardware! After playing on the server for a while with this new hardware, I can immediately tell that it has made a significant improvement in server performance. Although the server still doesn't run at 20TPS even with only 10 players online, and the new hardware specs isn't what was originally promised from my donation, I can confirm that the server is mostly playable again.

I'm not sure if it was my video that sparked this change, but if it was, I'm glad it did.
