🇺🇸 Hello Unforgettable Crew!

We haven’t being posting new videos in these past weeks as you might have noticed. We needed to take a little break to rest our minds and recharge our energies, we wanted to spend time with family for the Holidays and process everything that we lived this year.
We are taking this time to be grateful for the good things that happened to us and to learn from the bad ones. Soon we’ll be back with many new adventures to share with you.

Thanks so much for being part of this Unforgettable Family, we feel lucky and blessed to have so many amazing people following our journey and such a liked minded community. We wouldn’t have come so far if it wasn’t for you guys.

We wish you a beautiful 2022 with lots of happiness and love, close to the ones you love. That you have the strength and courage to make your dreams become true.

Estávamos precisando tirar um tempo para descansar a mente e recarregar nossas energias, queremos passar um tempo com a família nesse final de ano e processar tudo que aconteceu em 2021. Estamos tirando essa folga para agradecer às boas coisas que nos aconteceram nesse ano e aprender com as ruins. Logo estaremos de volta com muitas aventuras para compartilhar com vocês.

Muito obrigada a todos vocês por fazerem parte dessa Família Unforgettable, nos sentimos sortudos e abençoados de ter tanta gente incrível acompanhando nossa jornada. Não teríamos chego tão longe sem vocês.

No video from us today 🎥📱, we are busy preparing the boat to sail to a new adventure soon ⛵💨. Any guesses where’s our next destination in French Polynesia?

By the way, for the next months we will be posting videos every other week, we are in need of a bit more time for the production and editing so we can release better quality/content videos to you. That’s what makes us happy, focus on content and great videos instead of meeting deadlines every week.

We won't be releasing a new video today! 😔
Sorry to disappoint you but we had to deal with some issues this week and couldn't manage to post a new episode but the next week we'll be back full on with lots of adventures!

In this meanwhile, if you missed last weeks episode, go check it out. We swam with whales in their natural environment, one of the most amazing experiences we ever had under the water.

Unforgettable Sailing

INGLES- ( Portugues adiante no texto) When starting my studies as a Oceanographer , swim with whales was one of the most idealized and romanticized highlights of my future career. It didn’t take long to realize that this was something really hard to achieve, and for a long time I tought I was only for dedicated specialists like Jaques Costeau and other legends, till I got to French Polynesia…

Since I found out that here was one of the few spots on the planet where swimming with whales was still allowed it became an obsession. On our first two seasons here we could not do it, but this year I would not miss the opportunity.

To witness these huge animals swimming freely in the open blue was for sure of the most memorable moments of my life, its a mix of adrenaline, incredulity and happiness, there also something of holy, but overall its magical and humbling.

We humans like to think about ourselves as the ultimate creatures on this planet, but seriously, looking at that whale, peacefully enjoying a morning on the sun, made me jealous in a special way.

It wasn’t easy, it took many attempts to finally have a good encounter.

PORTUGUES - Ao iniciar meus estudos como oceanógrafo, nadar com baleias era um dos sonhos mais idealizados e romantizados da minha futura carreira. Não demorou muito para perceber que isso era algo realmente difícil de conseguir, e por muito tempo achei que era apenas para especialistas dedicados como Jaques Costeau e outras lendas, até chegar à Polinésia Francesa ...

Desde que descobri que aqui era um dos poucos lugares do planeta onde nadar com baleias ainda era permitido, tornou-se uma obsessão. Em nossas duas primeiras temporadas aqui não conseguimos, mas este ano eu não perderia a oportunidade.

Assistir a estes enormes animais nadando livremente no azul aberto foi com certeza um dos momentos mais memoráveis ​​da minha vida, é uma mistura de adrenalina, incredulidade e felicidade, há também algo de sagrado, mas no geral é mágico e e nos faz mais humilde.

Nós, humanos, gostamos de pensar que somos as criaturas definitivas deste planeta, mas, falando sério, olhar para aquela baleia, desfrutar pacificamente de uma manhã ao sol, me deixou com ciúmes de uma maneira especial.

Não foi fácil, foram necessárias muitas tentativas para finalmente ter um bom encontro.
