Another suicide prevention month thingy:

I’d like to pay tribute to my best friend who passed away to suicide 2 years ago, Ollie.

I like to remember Ollie in musicals specifically Hamilton and Heathers. He was 2 years older than me and lived across the country. He was such a goof ball always laughing and smiling, trying to make others laugh too. I wish I could’ve see the signs before it was too late.

Ollie passed away on 5/4/23. I remember that day like it was yesterday. (Ollie lived in a timezone 3 hours ahead of me) It was a cooler Thursday morning, I woke up at around 5 am, like any other day I got up to go to school. (For reference Ollie was homeschooled so he got up much later than I did) It was about 8:37 am when I got a message from his sister specifically saying that Ollie hung himself. It felt like my entire world around me collapsed and I felt guilty for not realizing what he was suffering with for so long. 2023 was when I really spiraled and I lost my best friend he will always be my best friend no matter what. His nickname he would call me was Melly. I spend everyday missing him and wishing I could go back just to hear him laugh one last time.


Please don’t take your life it’s a catastrophic solution for a temporary problem. It will get better, people love and care about you dearly. Please hold on you will never know how much people care about you. I love you all /p and RIP Ollie

Hey guys so it’s suicide prevention month so I’m going to share my story and try to support you guys.


If you guys haven’t seen me before my name is Mel I’m a high school student from the USA and I have attempted over 6 times in my life. Although my mental health isn’t the best still, I have found joy in things such as sports and my best friend. I don’t have many irl friends but I’m glad to have every single one of yall. Nothing can describe how much joy YouTube has brought into my life.


Trust me Ik things can be bad rn and Ik you keep hearing this over and over again, but things will get better think of the things you want to live for. I can’t even put into words how grateful I am that my attempts didn’t work. To any of yall seing this, you are loved even if you don’t feel like it at least I love all of you guys.


Everything gets better and we will all recover together, so I have homework for you guys. If you guys can make a list with 3 reasons YOU want to live for and one achievement lately, tag me if you’d like to share. I will start below with one of my achievements and my list! Love you guys so much and keep pushing it will get so much better I promise!
