🇵🇭 Martial Artist BJJ MTK FMA

I press record, then upload.

I want to share a small shift in how I’m using this channel.

In the YouTube world, the advice is often to niche down. For me, martial arts is the niche—but within that, there are narrower lanes. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Filipino Martial Arts, and personal work all attract different people, and I know that’s created an inconsistent message for those who came here looking for a single art.

I spent some time considering splitting everything into separate, focused channels. In the end, I decided to keep it together.

Over time, I’ve explored different ways of making content here. That includes more cinematic, produced projects—which were genuinely fun to make and meaningful to certain people. I’m glad I did them. They helped me see what I enjoy, what I’m strongest at, and where I still have room to grow.

As I continue exploring what actually aligns with how I want to work, I’m noticing that waiting for everything to be refined leads to very long gaps between uploads.

For now, I’m choosing to show up differently.

This channel will lean more toward documentation: class footage, training notes, and observations from practice as they happen. Less production, fewer hooks, more real moments from the work itself. I’ll start with what I’m strongest at, while still leaving room to explore raw ideas as they come up.

Refinement isn’t going away—it’ll happen alongside the work and reveal itself naturally over time, instead of being a prerequisite to posting.

I want to thank everyone who found this channel early, subscribed, commented, and engaged. I don’t take that lightly.

I’m stepping away from trends and formulas for now—not permanently, just intentionally. The goal is consistency, honesty, and staying close to the practice.

If you’re here for that, I appreciate you.
If not, that’s okay too.

I’m just showing up and continuing the work.
