Phew! Been tinkering away at this one for awhile. Sortof a love-letter to some anime & Nintendo 64 games I grew up with. The idea took shape in a wild way and became it's own thing far beyond its initial conception. I sincerely hope y'all enjoy engaging with this media as I did putting it all together <3

Incredibly thrilled to release Hyperchromic Overdrive, a barber beats/vaporwave mix set in the dystopian cyberpunk world of G String. I implore you to check it out and give it a try - The game dev has really created something special here.
Just wanted to drop in and say... that to think this channel was just shy of 1k subs at the beginning of this year is abit of a trip. Doing this Source Radio π‘ project has brought me aton of creative catharsis and I appreciate the feedback and support very much
What I'm trying to say is thank you - whether it was liking or subscribing to this channel, commenting or putting a mix on during office hours... Just honestly, I mean it when I say it's allowed me to feel connected to folks in ways I could never anticipate, so thank you all for that <3
The photos here are cuts I made to the 2024 roaster - Might revisit one day, so don't be surprised if you see them, or similar locations in future. The cuts happened because either I didn't have the time, or my interest waned as I explored different directions. Figured it's kinda neat to share for those interested
To end this, and start the New Year, I'd like to strongly warrant good wishes and an excellent start to 2025, and the best of luck to this community going forwards :)

The settings from a dystopian cyberpunk game called G String that was originally built as a HL2 mod, then converted into it's own thing. It uses Source Engine, so fair game as far as I'm concerned.

Lost Coast is a Slushwave/Liminal ambient mix. Another one that won't be for everyone, but I've had the idea forever now and wanted to get it wrapped up. Best listening experience is through a good pair of headphones π§

This latest mix isn't as intense as 2Fort, instead it delves into wider ranges of vaporwave/ BB subgenres.

Calling this one "Office Odyssey" because it's my longest mix to date, with 41 tracks and running over an hour and a half in length. We're diving in pretty deep into different areas of Mallsoft with some Corporate Vaporwave Lounge vibes along the way.

We're getting back to basics with this latest one... by popular demand, we're exploring Team Fortress 2 inside one of my favourite classic maps.
