TL;DR: Drove into my house lol.

First major mistake since owning the Volvo happened the other day. Sadly there's no footage for obvious reasons but I really miss having front sensors 😂🤦‍♂️ If traffic is busy I'll pull into my driveway forward and 3 point turn to face the correct way for later. I knew the turn to the mm in the Mazda, learned the hard way that it's best done in 5 with the V60 🙃 Thankfully a new part is only £25 and there's no further damage beyond this to car or house 😌😅

As we move from one era of my channel to the next, I'd like to introduce my new logo! 🥳 The decision to change the Dash Cam Hull logo is something I'd been mulling over for quite a long time... Somewhat inspired by Man City's current football crest, my new logo pays homage to the iconic Humber Bridge with a generic dash cam dangling above it. Whether you love it, hate it or couldn't give a toss - at least now there's a 0% chance of anyone mistaking 'DCH' for 'Debt Collectors Huddersfield'. (This has never happened, but best to put fires out before they spread eh?)

I thought I'd struggle to even scrape £400 before I started, so this is outstanding! Thank you so much for being a part of making my 30th feel worthwhile and epic! I stressed for a long time about what to do for my milestone birthday, and it sucks that my enjoyment of it at the time was shrouded by panic attacks, but I had a lot of fun reliving it via making the videos and the response to the videos has been golden ❤️

There's one video still to come (currently working out a copyright issue) but it's just an unbroken timelapse of the drive for anyone who wanted to watch and critique it in full 😘 Also sorry if the road trip series hasn't been what you're into - regular programming shall very shortly resume. Lyl 🫶

What's up drivers!? I turned 30 today... (Yikes, I know!) and for my birthday I wanted to do something special so I'm attempting to set an impressive time record for driving across mainland UK!! From my research West to East seems very much slept on in favour of John O Groats to Lands End which has been done to death, all I can find are electric car owners and cyclists bragging to have done it. If anyone knows of a "record time" for this challenge, please do let me know!

£550 is the goal as that is roughly how many miles the journey is point to point. ALL money raised will be going directly to cancer research, the trip will be entirely self-funded. Slightly disappointing news:
I had made plans this year to make a series of videos about me attempting to attain an advanced driver qualification. Unfortunately the company (who I shan’t name to legally protect myself from defamation) have, for lack of better ways of putting it, absolutely sh*t the bed. This has left me chasing a refund almost 3 months after purchasing the course, still having no instructor and them telling me there’s no time frame for when a decision would be made for if I would be allowed to use content from the drives on YouTube. Despite the fact I was told BEFORE buying the course that this would be perfectly fine!! 🙄 So yeah… I am NOT happy…

Should I successfully get my refund in full then I intend to reinvest it for the sake of content, but what should I do instead? Please vote below!! 🤩

Slight change of plans...
Tonight's video was meant to be the Chaos Theory Motorway Mondays but I've been a bit unwell (thanks to a dodgy rustlers burger 🤢) so tonight's video is now just a short called 'dumb to be nice'. I'm aiming for a Thursday 29th release for Chaos Theory now, which is kind of ironic since the butterfly effect of me eating a rustlers has caused this delay 😂 to add to the 'chaos' this Saturday there was supposed to be a 6 Minute Saturdays but I currently have an ugly blistered hole in my lip thanks to a piping hot naan bread so I will record the talking head for that when my lip is healed, and instead get Friendly Moments #4 released ASAP. I appreciate all of you immensely, and if you can share my videos and channels with everyone you know to help me finally hit 10k subs that would be awesome as I have a fantastic celebration video in the works!! 🥳
