Mera naam Babita hai. Main Uttarakhand ke Pithoragarh jile ke ek chhote se kasbe 'Thal' se aati hoon.

Main kabhi ek topper nahi rahi, ek bohot hi average student thi. Meri kahani mein failures the, aansu the, aur rukaawatein thi... lekin sabse badhkar, kabhi na haar manne ki zidd thi. Agar aapko lagta hai ki aapki life mein bohot struggles hain, toh meri yeh journey shayad aapko himmat de.

Main apne gaon mein apne mata-pita ke saath rehti thi aur wahin se meri padhai shuru hui. Main kabhi bahut achi student nahi rahi; main ek average student thi. High school tak ki padhai maine apne gaon se hi ki. Iske baad intermediate ki padhai ke liye main Pithoragarh shahar aa gayi. Us samay hamare school mein teachers ki kami thi, isliye padhai ka level bahut acha nahi tha. Mere marks na bahut kharab the aur na hi bahut ache the. Intermediate ke baad maine Pithoragarh se hi B.Sc. mein admission liya.

The Hindi-Medium Struggle 📚
B.Sc. mere liye easy nahi tha, kyunki maine 12th tak Hindi medium se padhai ki thi aur achanak B.Sc. ki padhai English mein hone lagi. Shuruaat mein mujhe subjects samajhne mein bahut dikkat hoti thi. Kitabon ka material samajhna bhi challenging lagta tha. Phir bhi, kisi tarah maine teen saal poore kiye aur B.Sc. complete kar li.
Iske baad maine M.Sc. mein admission liya. M.Sc. tak pahunchte-pahunchte meri English thodi better ho gayi thi. Ab main kam se kam books padhkar unka content samajhne lagi thi. Maine M.Sc. ka pehla aur doosra semester complete kiya.

M.Sc, B.Ed. aur Shaadi 💍
Isi dauran B.Ed. ki entrance exam hui. Maine exam diya aur mera selection Kashipur Degree College mein ho gaya. Us samay maine socha tha ki pehle M.Sc. complete kar loongi aur uske baad B.Ed. karungi. Lekin mere papa ne salah di ki B.Ed. us samay ek saal ka hai aur future mein shayad do saal ka ho sakta hai, isliye pehle B.Ed. kar lena better hoga.
Us samay mujhe yah nahi pata tha ki B.Ed. ka session 1 sal piche chal raha tha or meri M.Sc. ke academic session overlap ho jayega. Maine papa ki salah maankar B.Ed. mein admission le liya. B.Ed. k dauran meri shaadi ho gayi. Us samay meri umr sirf 21 saal thi. Maine B.Ed. complete kar liya, lekin M.Sc. complete nahi ho pai. B.Ed. ke baad main wapas Pithoragarh gayi, taaki M.Sc. complete kar sakun. Lekin jab meri M.Sc. ki exams shuru hui, tab mera beta sirf teen din ka tha. Main exam nahi de pai aur us saal bhi meri M.Sc. aage nahi badh saki. Us samay tak mujhe CSIR-NET ke baare mein kuch bhi pata nahi tha.
Baad mein mere husband ne mujhse kaha ki main Haldwani (Jahan mere husband job karte the us time) aa jaun. Unhone suggest kiya ki yahan degree college mein baat karke main yahin se M.Sc. complete kar sakti hoon. Main Haldwani gayi aur college mein admission ke baare mein information li. Wahan teachers ne meri situation samajhte hue bataya ki meri B.Ed. ki degree jis session ki hai, usi session mein meri M.Sc. ka first year bhi recorded hai. Isliye mujhe doosre semester ki marksheet cancel karwani padegi.

Mere liye yah bahut difficult situation thi, kyunki ek saal pehle hi waste ho chuka tha. Mujhe yah bhi bataya gaya ki B.Sc. ke baad M.Sc. complete karne ki 4 years fixed time limit hoti hai. Mere paas sirf final year bacha tha. Agar is saal bhi M.Sc. complete nahi hui, to meri saalon ki mehnat waste ho sakti thi. Main university gayi aur wahan kuch senior professors ko apni poori situation batayi. Unhone kaha ki kyunki beech mein meri padhai mein B.Ed. ke karan gap aaya tha, isliye shayad mujhe ek additional year mil sakta hai. Mujhe laga ki ab mere liye raasta khul gaya hai. Maine doosre semester ki marksheet cancel karwai aur dobara doosre semester mein admission liya. Maine exam bhi diya, lekin exam dene ke baad mera result rok diya gaya. Main phir university gayi. Wahan mujhe meri marksheet dikhai gayi aur bataya gaya ki ise college bhej diya jayega. Iske baad maine third semester mein bhi admission le liya. Lekin jab third semester ki exam ka time aaya, to baaki sabhi students ke admit cards aa gaye, jabki mera admit card nahi aaya. Jaanch karne par mujhe bataya gaya ki meri chaar saal ki defined duration poori ho chuki hai aur ab mujhe exam dene ki permission nahi di ja sakti. Yah mere liye bahut bada shock tha.

Main do-teen din tak lagatar roti rahi. Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha tha ki mere saath aisa kyun hua. Maine itne saalon tak padhai ki thi aur ab lag raha tha ki sab kuch wahin khatam ho gaya.
Mere paas Open University se M.Sc. karne ke alawa koi option nahi bacha tha. Aakhirkar maine Uttarakhand Open University se apni M.Sc. complete ki. Usi college mein Mathematics ke ek professor the. Unhin se maine pehli baar CSIR-NET ke baare mein suna. Lekin us samay competitive exam ka naam sunkar hi mujhe dar lagta tha. Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki main koi competitive exam doongi. Isliye NET ke baare mein sunne ke baad maine jyada dhyan nahi diya or main apni life mein aage badh gayi.

M.Sc. complete karne ke baad maine YouTube ke through thoda-thoda padhna shuru kiya. Dheere-dheere subjects samajh mein aane lage aur mera confidence bhi badhne laga.
Iske baad maine PhD ki entrance exam di aur use qualify kar liya. Mere liye ye bahut important achievement thi. Pehli baar mujhe laga ki shayad main bhi aage kuch kar sakti hoon.

Iske baad maine J Chemistry coaching join ki. Jyoti mam se mile guidance, teachers ki mehnat aur padhane ke systematic tareeke ne meri preparation ko ek nayi direction di. Shuruaat mein mujhe kai topics difficult lagte the, lekin mam ki classes, study material aur continuous guidance se meri understanding dheere-dheere better hoti gayi. Sabse important baat ye thi ki mujhe apni preparation par confidence hone laga.
Lekin tab tak meri life pehle jaisi nahi rahi thi. Meri shaadi ho chuki thi, ghar ki responsibilities thin aur isi beech mere do bachche bhi ho gaye the. Ek taraf PhD karni thi, doosri taraf ghar sambhalna tha, bachchon ki care karni thi aur saath hi NET ki preparation bhi karni thi. Kai baar main padhne baithti aur tabhi ghar ka koi kaam aa jata. Kabhi bachchon ki responsibility, kabhi ghar ka kaam aur kabhi PhD se juda work. Kai baar poora din nikal jata aur main properly padhai nahi kar pati. Phir bhi maine NET ki exam dena jaari rakha. Pehli baar jab maine NET ki exam di, tab maine properly preparation bhi nahi ki thi.

Meri fail hone ki series kuch aisi thi:
❌ 1st Attempt: 30 Marks
❌ 2nd Attempt: 50 Marks
❌ 3rd Attempt: 60 Marks
❌ 4th Attempt: 80 Marks
Mere marks dheere-dheere badh rahe the, lekin main abhi bhi exam qualify nahi kar pai thi.

Har fail attempt ke baad main toot jati thi. Mujhe lagta tha general category mein sirf 1% selection hota hai, mera kaise hoga? Tab mere husband ne mujhse ek baat kahi jisne mera nazariya badal diya; "Tum us 1% par dhyan mat do. Tumhe sirf ek seat chahiye." Aur mere PhD supervisor ne hamesha vishwas dilaya ki main JRF nikal sakti hoon. Main unki baat sunti thi, lekin andar se mujhe phir bhi dar lagta tha ki pata nahi main successful ho paungi ya nahi.

The Final Result 🏆
Maine paanchvi baar (5th attempt) NET ka exam diya. Aur jab result aaya, toh us par likha tha:
✅ Marks: 128
✅ Percentile: 99.43%
✅ AIR: 58 (JRF Qualified!) 🎉

Mujhe vishwas hi nahi hua! Shaadi ke 11 saal baad, ek average student jo competitive exams se darti thi, aaj AIR 58 le aayi thi. Aaj jab main peeche mudkar dekhti hoon, toh mujhe samajh aata hai ki mere pichle attempts bekaar nahi the; main har baar thoda thoda aage badh rahi thi. (30 ➡️ 50 ➡️ 60 ➡️ 80 ➡️ 128)

Agar main chauthe attempt ke baad ruk jati, toh yeh AIR 58 kabhi nahi aati. Yeh sirf ek result nahi, meri poori zindagi ki kahani hai. Ek chhote se kasbe ki ek average student ki poori kahani.

Let's rewind a bit. Pursuing a Master’s at IIT Delhi isn't exactly a walk in the park. Between the endless assignments, managing semesters, exams & everything else that comes with IIT life, and the constant advice to "just focus on your CGPA," finding time for competitive prep felt almost impossible. Some people went out of their way to tell me “You wouldn't be able to handle it and Just focus on your semester. CSIR-NET tumhare liye mushkil hai. Tu bas ratta maarta hai tuje kuch nhi ata!”

Honestly? Those words were meant to discourage me, but they ended up lighting a fire in me instead🔥and motivated me to give it a serious try.

During my summer break, I went back home. Did I lock myself in a room and study 15 hours a day? Nope. I spent most of my time enjoying my hometown, eating amazing ghar ka khana, and resting. But whatever limited time I did study, I made it count.

That’s where the J Chemistry Crash course became an absolute lifesaver. It helped me channel my prep perfectly. A massive thank you to Jyoti ma'am, your teaching and words truly inspired me to keep pushing forward! 🙏✨

I’m Anusri Karmakar from West Bengal. Back in my B.Sc. days at the University of Calcutta, I was just an average student. Honestly, words like "CSIR-NET," "GATE," or "JRF" weren't even in my dictionary until my Master's! I got to know about them from my friends, seniors, and professors. Once I realized these exams could change my career, I knew I had to give it a shot.

While looking for a good coaching platform, one of my friends and a senior suggested J Chemistry. Before joining, I explored Jyoti mam’s YouTube videos, and I was really impressed by the way the concepts were explained. Everything felt much easier to understand. That was when I decided to join the J Chemistry platform.

But my journey was anything but smooth. 📉

Balancing M.Sc. semesters with competitive exam prep was overwhelming.
❌ Attempt 1: Didn’t qualify.
❌ Attempt 2: Qualified only for PhD admission. Why? I had rushed through the syllabus and completely ignored assignments, chapter tests, and revision.

After finishing my Master's in August 2025, I decided to start from absolute scratch. For the December attempt, I could cover only the Physical Chemistry syllabus along with all the assignments. I was under a lot of pressure, but I still appeared for the examination. Unfortunately, the result was almost the same and it broke my heart; I missed LS by exactly ONE single mark. 💔

But instead of giving up, that 1 mark changed my mindset. It made me realize I was so close. I decided to fix my strategy and trust the process. My friends also supported and motivated me throughout this journey.

This time, I didn't just rush the syllabus. I completed the entire syllabus along with all the assignments. The crash course helped me tremendously during the final stage of my preparation and revision. I could complete only one full-length test from the test series, but every part of my preparation helped me in some way during the examination.

Then came Exam Day. ⏳
In a previous attempt, I was the very last candidate to run into the exam hall,and I still remembered the frustration and anxiety I had experienced that day. Not this time. I reached the center an hour early. I sat there calm, focused, and confident.

Walking out of the hall, I had a gut feeling I had finally done it. I knew I'd qualify for JRF, but I never expected what happened next.

When the results dropped: JRF with AIR-56. 🏆✨

My eyes filled with tears of joy. Every single failure, the immense pressure, the self-doubt; it all suddenly made sense.

Looking back, this wasn't just about clearing an exam. It was about transforming myself, learning discipline, and refusing to quit when the results were not in my favour. From being an average student during graduation to achieving JRF, this journey has taught me that failure is not the end. Sometimes, it is simply a step that prepares us for something better.

I am truly grateful to J Chemistry, especially Jyoti Ma'am and the entire J Chemistry team, for being an important part of this journey. The lectures, assignments, chapter-wise tests, test series, and especially the crash course helped me immensely throughout my preparation.
Thank you, J Chemistry❤️, for guiding me, supporting me, and helping me turn my dream of qualifying for JRF into reality.

To anyone reading this who feels like they are failing: Failure is not a full stop. It’s just a stepping stone preparing you for something better. With consistent effort and the right guidance, ordinary students can absolutely achieve extraordinary things. Keep fighting!

If you told the 5th-grade me; who was being forced by his sister to cram the periodic table, that Chemistry would become my entire life, I wouldn’t have believed you.

Teri Meri Kahaani ✨From cramming the Periodic Table to dreaming in formulas… here’s my CSIR-NET journey! 🧪

Even in college, I was the guy who went blank when our professor, A.K. Verma Sir, asked a basic naming question about Ethyl Ethanoate. I couldn’t even draw the structure!

From there to where I am today, the journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. 🎢

My real connection with Chemistry started when I found J Chemistry. I’ve been following Jyoti Ma’am since she first started teaching on YouTube. On my first serious CSIR-NET attempt, I cleared Category 3 (PhD only). I had relied heavily on Physical and Inorganic, totally ignoring my weak spot: Organic Chemistry. And that’s exactly where I missed it.

Around the same time, I was giving PhD interviews at different institutes like NSUT. I tried twice, but couldn't make it. The feedback was always the same: "Clear CSIR-NET first."

But I didn’t stop. I came back with double the energy, double the determination, and as I like to call it, Double Aura Power! 😂✨

This time, I gave more time to question practice, assignments and J Chemistry lectures. My mindset was clear: If I give this exam 100% of my dedication, I will clear it. My friends became my backbone. Every time I felt low, they would just say, "Bhai, NET nikal!" We’d discuss questions, solve doubts, and keep pushing each other.

Honestly, I went a little crazy during this prep. I literally manifested this exam. I thought about it 24/7. Sometimes, right in the middle of deep sleep, my brain would randomly ask, "Arre yaar, formula kya tha?" 😂 I’d wake up, check my notes, and start solving MCQs again.

This time, I took printouts of all the J Chemistry assignments and solved them properly with pen and paper. I became so obsessed that I actually started loving MCQs.

The Game Changer: I had always skipped Organometallics out of sheer laziness. But thanks to a friend’s constant push, I finally sat down and revised every important point. Honestly, that single chapter became one of the biggest reasons I scored well! All of this was happening while I was pulling all-nighters and simultaneously giving my B.Ed. exams.

But my focus never shifted. I had given so much of my life to Chemistry; it was time to make the bond permanent. ❤️ And walking out of that exam hall, I just knew it. I knew something good was going to happen.

To Jyoti Ma’am, for me she truly is The Queen of Chemistry 👑
Honestly, I can’t even understand Chemistry concepts from anyone else anymore. It’s become a true bond between a teacher and a student. Whenever I am stuck, I automatically go back to your lectures. We need more teachers like you who don’t just teach a syllabus, but actually inspire students to believe in themselves. Thank you for everything, Ma'am! ❤️

To everyone out there currently preparing, I love failing and falling because every failure gave me a stronger reason to rise. Through this whole grind, I learned the ultimate secret to clearing any competitive exam:

Corona ke time par maine apni preparation start ki. Kyunki kabhi seriously padhai ki hi nahi thi, toh sab kuch bohot tough lag raha tha. Tabhi YouTube par maine Jyoti Mam ka phli bar 'Pericyclic' ka lecture dekha aur mujhe bohot acha laga. Maine aur mere friends ne mam ka course liya.

Jab result aaya, toh mere sab dosto ka clear ho gaya... mujhe chhod kar. Reason? Maine sirf ache-ache notes banaye the, revision par dhyan hi nahi diya. Us waqt mujhe laga ki shayad ye mere bas ki baat nahi hai. Main demotivate ho gayi, B.Ed start kar di, aur side-by-side jobs dhundhne lagi kyunki age bhi nikal rahi thi aur tension bohot thi.

Tension thi, par maine give up nahi kiya. Main thodi-thodi preparation karti rahi. Aur aaj, finally mera CSIR-NET June 2026 exam clear ho gaya hai, with 140 marks and AIR 34 JRF🎯

Par meri sabse badi achievement rank nahi hai. Ek time tha jab main phone ki choti si screen par Mam ko dekhti thi aur sochti thi, "Kaash kabhi Mam ke sath kaam karne ka chance mile." Aur aaj wo sapna sach ho gaya hai!

Thank you so much Jyoti Mam, sirf exam clear karwane ke liye nahi, balki mujh par trust karne ke liye aur mujhe ye opportunity dene ke liye. 🙏✨

Teri Meri Kahaani ✨From Loss and Setbacks to AIR 7!

I am Sourav Kumar Samantaray, from Cuttack, Odisha. My journey is a reminder to myself that perseverance can turn hardships and setbacks into achievements.

Life tested me at an early age. While I was in Class 10, I lost my father, a loss that left a deep void in my life. Despite the pain and difficult circumstances, I continued my education with determination and the hope of building a better future. After completing my 12th, I chose Chemistry as my Honours subject and successfully completed my graduation from a state college. I then pursued my M.Sc. in Chemistry from Central University of Haryana and was able to secure Rank 2 in the department.

But the road ahead was far from easy.

I began preparing for the CSIR-NET examination, but I faced failure repeatedly. And finally decided to join the online course by J Chemistry. Their well-structured content and guidance helped me strengthen my concepts and gave me the confidence to continue my preparation with a better approach. Later I cleared the entrance examination for PhD at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), securing Rank 3. However, due to personal reasons, I had to leave that opportunity as well. And finally, my perseverance paid off.

I secured AIR 7 in the CSIR-NET June 2026 exam.

I am sincerely grateful to Jyoti mam and her team for their valuable guidance & quality content, and to my family members for their constant support, motivation and belief in me throughout this journey.

My journey has taught me one simple lesson:
“Success may take time, but sincere hard work never goes to waste!”

Mera naam Garima Sharma hai, aur meri journey kisi seedhe raaste jaisi bilkul nahi thi. Maine ek state university se 2014 mein B.Sc ki, phir B.Ed aur 2017 mein M.Sc complete ki. Same year, maine state government mein lecturer ki job clear kar li. Life set lag rahi thi, phir marriage hui aur preparation se link poori tarah toot gaya. Ek working mom ke liye time nikalna kitna mushkil hota hai, ye maine tab mehsus kiya. But, main J Chemistry se judi rhi. Bahut mushkil se waqt nikal kar maine notes banaye. Dheere-dheere, kabhi 1 ghanta toh kabhi 2 ghante padhai continue ki. Aise hi consistent rehte hue 4 saal beet gaye.

Asli turning point tab aaya jab mera Chhattisgarh SET 2024 clear hua, wo bhi Rank 6 ke saath! Is result ne mera confidence wapas la diya aur mujhe laga ki ab mujhe CSIR NET ke liye apna 100% try karna hi hoga.

Is baar meri family ne mujhe bhot support kiya. Mere husband dusri city mein job karte hain, par es bar ke CSIR NET June 2026 exam me preparation k time mere saath rhe, unhone apni job manage karke baby ki saari responsibilities utha li. Ghar ka saara kaam meri mother ne sambhala. Main din mein apni lecturer ki job karti, aur wapas aakar apna poora focus sirf aur sirf padhai par rakhti.

Aur aaj ye result, Rank 5, mila hai. Bhagwan ke aashirwad, meri family ke support aur Jyoti Mam ke bina ye bilkul possible nahi tha. Mam, aapke padhane ka tareeka best hai, you are truly the best! Thank you ❤️

Class 12th ka aakhiri Teacher’s Day tha. Pura room flowers, chocolates aur perfect, glittery greeting cards se bhara tha. Sab students apne favourite teachers ko thank you bol rahe the, par Aryan ek kone mein khada tha, apne haath mein ek purani, rough notebook liye. Uska gift baakiyon se alag tha, aur uske peeche ki kahani bhi.
Aryan humesha se ek perfectionist tha. Agar notes banaate time ek step galat ho jata, toh wo pura page faad kar dustbin mein phek deta. Agar ek spelling galat ho jaati toh woh uspe fluid laga deta tha…Usse lagta tha ki life mein fail hone ka ya imperfect dikhne ka koi option hi nahi hai. Is "perfection" ke bojh ne uski saari khushi chheen li thi. Ek din, jab wo frustration mein apni notebook ke pages faad raha tha, tab Mr. Kabir, uske chemistry teacher, uske paas aaye. Unhone Aryan ke haath se wo crumpled paper liya aur uski crease ko dheere se seedha kiya.
"Tum is paper ko kyun phenk rahe ho, Aryan?" unhone pucha. Aryan ne chidh kar kaha, "Kyunki yeh kharab ho gaya hai, sir. Ek galti ne iska pura look bigaad diya. Mujhe sirf clean sheets pasand hain."
Mr. Kabir muskuraye aur apni ek purani, leather-bound diary nikal kar uski desk par rakh di. Jab Aryan ne us diary ko khola, toh wo hairan reh gaya. Usme har page par cross marks the, reactions rough tarike se kate hue the, margin mein scribbling thi aur ink ke daag the. Wo kisi bhi angle se "perfect" nahi thi.
"Yeh meri sabse keemti kitaab hai," Mr. Kabir ne softly kaha. "Duniya tumhe sikhayegi ki sirf final, flawless result matter karta hai. Par sach yeh hai ki life ek final draft nahi hai. Life is about erasing, rewriting, making a mess, and trying again. Jab tum ek imperfect page ko faad dete ho, toh tum sirf apni galti ko nahi mitate, tum us effort ko bhi mita dete ho jisne tumhe kal se thoda behtar banaya. Tumhari galtiyan tumhare scars nahi hain; wo is baat ka saboot hain ki tumne koshish ki. Be careful not to erase your journey while trying to look perfect."
Us ek choti si conversation ne Aryan ka nazariya hamesha ke liye badal diya. Use samajh aaya ki khud ko grow karne ke liye khud ko galat hone ki ijazat dena zaroori hai. Aansoo, failures aur ink ke daag hi zindagi ki sabse authentic story likhte hain.
Aaj, us bhari hui class mein, Aryan aage badha aur usne wo khali, perfect notebook Mr. Kabir ko nahi di. Usne apni wahi purani rough notebook unhe gift ki, jisme uski har galti, har crossed-out word aur har koshish ka nishaan mehfooz tha. Notebook ke pehle page par ek simple line likhi thi: "To the teacher who taught me how to love my messy, imperfect journey. Thank you for not judging my rough drafts." Mr. Kabir ki aankhon mein aasu the, aur us din class mein sabse keemti aur khoobsurat gift ek aam si, imperfect notebook thi.

Learning: Dusron ke saamne khud ko perfect dikhaana hi nahi, hum jaise hain, hum waise hi ache hain…bas hum daily basis pe apni galtiyon se seekhenge aur aage badhenge…aur ek din jab palat ke galtiyaan yaad karenge, toh we will be very proud of ourselves ki hum kahan se kahan aa gaye…!
