Today was such a busy day on our mountain homestead. My mother and I harvested our potatoes, made delicious homemade tomato paste, lecsó, and refreshing kvas to prepare for the long winter ahead. 🥔🍅🍹

Summer and autumn in the mountains are about so much more than just breathtaking landscapes and riding the trails on two wheels. It’s also the busy harvest season on the homestead! Working together with mom to put up delicious homemade preserves, fresh juice, and sweet jams so we’ll have plenty of wholesome goodness waiting for us during the cold winter months. 🍎🫐
