Pocket Quests

After a VERY long delay, I am back with another episode of my Japan series. This time, I'm in Tokyo! Watch as I explore many different card stores in both Ikebukuro and Akihabara. I have to say, I didn't think anything could beat Osaka, but Tokyo may have taken the trophy. I found some great deals, some really cool stores and just had an overall great time!

After a VERY long hiatus, I am BACK!

I know a lot of you are waiting for the rest of my Japan series, and I promise it's coming, but I filmed my birthday opening way back in July so really wanted to get this one up!

I open a mix of Pokemon and Lorcana (my two favourite TCGs) and get some decent pulls! Next video we'll be right back into my Japan series, with the highly anticipated... card hunting in TOKYO!


On another note, I am only 22 subscribers away from hitting 1000! I'm so appreciative of everyone who has subscribed to the channel over the last few months, and if you haven't yet, it would mean the world to me if you hit the button so I can hit the big1000!

Pocket Quests

Wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for the love on the Japan videos! I had so much fun in Japan and filming these videos, so I really appreciate all the support 🫶

My next video in my Japan series has just been uploaded - this is a bit shorter than the others as it was filmed during a stopover in between trains in Nagoya! I check out the Pokemon Center, and a couple card stores, and of course show you everything I picked up!

Still SO much to come from my Japan series:

Pocket Quests

Hi everyone!

I know it's been AGES since I last posted a video! As you may know, I've been travelling the world with my partner Rosh for the past 11 months, and the last few months in particular have been very busy for us, so I haven't been able to film or upload anything on the channel!

HOWEVER, I am days away from heading somewhere that may or may not be the home of Pokémon, and I have SO many plans for videos to film, so I can't wait to share those on the channel when they're ready!

You may have also noticed the channel name has been changed. While I loved the name Planet Pokemon, and felt it really aligned with my love of Pokemon and travel, the incident on Instagram a few months ago where a whole bunch of users with Pokemon / Poke / Poki in their names had their accounts suspended, freaked me out a little bit, and I decided it was a good idea to "fool proof" my channel name early before it's too late!

Another reason I decided to upgrade my name was because my love of collectibles extends beyond just Pokemon, and I really wanted to keep my "brand" open so I can incorporate some of my other collectible loves, particularly Disney Lorcana!

NOW you're probably wondering where the name has come from or what it means. There's a few reasons why I love this name:
1. It combines my two main collectible passions in Pokemon and Disney Lorcana. The "Pocket" comes from "Pocket Monsters", the original name of Pokemon, whilst the "Quests" comes from the gameplay of Disney Lorcana.
2. The name is still open enough that I have not "niched" myself.
3. I love the concept of going on "quests" and I feel like this kind of aligns with my love of travel!

SO ON THAT NOTE, welcome to Pocket Quests! I can't wait to share more content in the coming months, and hopefully on a more regular basis!
