My current WIP (work in progress) is called To Get a Throne its a fantasy duo-logy set in a kingdom called Evercrest the main characters name is Rayna and she goes undercover as a spy for the King to infiltrate the rebellion

Do people not realise they can give a backhanded remark without meaning to?
Like they say ‘Kath youre smart and all but ___ is like next level smart’ Can you not just call ___ smart? Do you *need* to drag me into it?
Or ‘I know ive said this before but you, ___, have such an hourglass firgure’ (they say this infront of me) or ‘Bro kath don’t ___ and ___ have such good hourglass figures’ like if your dishing out compliments on figures give them to everyone 😭 i guarantee people notice when no one compliments them on it.
I dont know it happens like all the time and it just feels so back handed! Or they just talk to me abt wanting to look better and dont mention it to anyone else and then look at me expecting me to relate like AGH i dont care if i find it relatable you should expect me to, its insulting

I hate how ppl are always like ‘being gay is not okay’ when my sister literally knows someone who’s boyfriend told her to kiss her best friend because thats what he was into. (She did it and her friend’s boyfriend was into it aswell)
