Today is the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. It’s a quiet beginning to the year. I’m thinking of all the ways she’s shown up for us, gentle and steady, no matter how messy or uncertain things feel.

Maybe you’re starting the year a little worn out or wishing things were different, or maybe you’re feeling hopeful and ready for a fresh start. Wherever you land today, you’re not alone. Mary is a mother to everyone, whether we’re feeling lost, tired, or just need someone to listen.

If you get a chance, take a minute to pause. Light a candle, whisper a prayer, or just let your heart rest a bit. I’ll be saying a Hail Mary for anyone who needs comfort, direction, or just a little peace today.

May this year be a little softer than the last, and may you always find a bit of hope waiting for you, even in the smallest, quietest places.

I can’t believe we’re at the end of another year. I just wanted to drop in and say thank you for being here and sharing this space with me. I was overwhelmed to log in and see this little channel made it to 1,000 subscribers. So, whether you’ve watched a prayer video, left a comment, or just found a little peace along the way, thank you for being here.

New Year’s Eve always feels like a mix of hope and maybe a little anxiety about what’s next, but tonight I’m praying for all of you. I’m asking God (and Mary, too, since tomorrow’s her big day) to cover you and your families with blessings in the coming year.
