You are loved in the "now," not the "later."

We spend so much energy trying to "earn" a seat at the table.

We think if we pray longer, serve more, or act perfectly, then God will finally be proud of us. But you cannot "impress" the one who created you.

He already knows your potential and your flaws, and He chose you anyway.

In Yoruba, we say O nifẹ rẹ bẹẹ—He loves you just like that.

In my messy, unfinished, "working-on-it" state. I don't need a resume to talk to my Father. I come as I am, and He loves me that way.

He isn’t standing over you in judgment;
He is standing with you in the fire.
