Welcome to Bloomfield Farm!! In 2018 my husband and I bought a 1774 Virginia french built Farmhouse that had been inhabited by only raccoons, bats, snakes and hoarders over the past 50+ years. Nothing has been done to this house. No bad 70's remodel. Follow our huge restoration-renovation project as DIY 'er as we take this house back from the wild, to restoring it, to living in it .... to one day creating a "Farm Stay" for all to enjoy. I'm a second hand picker and love antiques of the french persuasion. I love french furniture. So as I go, I fill the house with items we can only dream about having in a "real" functioning home.
Owning and restoring a farm in Virginia has been a LIFELONG dream for me. It feels like all roads have lead to this amazing opportunity to restore and live at Bloomfield Farm.
I hope you enjoy our journey. Please subscribe - we would love to have you along for the ride.

BLOOMFIELD FARM ~ Our 250 Year Old Restoration
Okay, YouTube's playing a new game with me - it's like "editing? Who needs editing?!". So I'm throwing this video out there, blindfolded and praying it doesn't look like a dumpster fire. No sneak peek, folks, gotta trust me on this one. Lots of exciting stuff to come in future videos! 🤪
