My name’s Dominic Colenso and I started my career as a professional actor. My claim to fame to save you clicking away and googling me is playing Virgil Tracy in the Hollywood remake of Thunderbirds alongside Sir Ben Kingsley and the late Bill Paxton. I now share the skills I learned from some of the world’s greatest actors, directors and writers with Sales Team and Business Leaders to help them pitch and perform more effectively. On this channel you’ll find loads of tips and tricks videos to help you become a better communicator as well as the recordings of my Why Life’s A Pitch podcast where I interview amazing people from business, sports and the arts about their success stories and the tools and techniques that helped them get there. Whether you're giving presentations, delivering sales pitches or refining your public speaking skills, there's load of stuff here that will help. I hope you enjoy!

Warm-ups aren't JUST for singers.

Or athletes.

Or teenagers before rolling their eyes.

They're also really important for presenting, pitching and public speaking too.

Here's the easy 3 stage warm-up routine I've been doing for years before speaking on stage. It never fails. If you're happy on stage, it'll make you even better...and if you're prone to feeling nervous before a big presentation, trust me - it'll eliminate those nerves FAST.

Erm. Well... umm... So....

Filler words like these are completely natural to use in everyday conversations, BUT when you're in a meeting, presenting or pitching, they will crush your credibility faster than an anvil being dropped on a walnut.

Don't worry though, if you're prone to using them when you're in front of an audience, I've got the perfect way to eliminate those "umms" and "errs", and it'll only take you 6 minutes to learn.
