Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman’s distinguished honours include the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (M), Hilal-e-Imtiaz (M), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (M), Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (M), Tamgha-e-Baqa, Tamgha-e-Istaqlal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Nuth al-Markat, Turkish Legion of Merit, Order of King Abdulaziz (1st Class), and United States Legion of Merit (Commander).
Air Marshal Arshad Malik has been honoured with the Hilal-e-Imtiaz (M), Sitara-e-Imtiaz (M) and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (M).
Both gentlemen have made an extraordinary contribution to Pakistan’s aviation history. It was a privilege to spend time with them, hear their stories and share some memorable conversations.
