✨Magic, Mystery, & Meaning ✨
Fabled Collective is a home for folklore, fairy tales, spooky stories, and haunted history—told with curiosity and care.
I explore why old stories endure, what they were meant to teach, and how ghosts, legends, and myths quietly shape how we live. These tales aren’t just meant to scare; they warn, remember, and guide across generations.
On this channel, you’ll find:
• Folklore and fairy tales explored for meaning and life wisdom
• Spooky stories and haunted history with thoughtful reflection
• Symbolism, superstition, and why certain stories endure
• Creative reflections on purpose, becoming, and living imaginatively
• Gentle guidance on reading stories more deeply—without losing their mystery
If you’re drawn to old stories, quiet wonder, and the feeling that the past still has something to teach us, you’re in the right place.
Reflections for anyone who wants to live a more imaginative, meaningful life—without losing the magic or the mystery.

My morning reading has been very enlightening. I’m always on the pursuit of furthering my education with the goal of growing into a better version of myself. Thankfully, it doesn't take pursuing another degree or certificate to do that. We’re each capable of learning nearly anything we want if we’re willing to put in the time and energy.
My return to reading classic literature has opened my mind in ways I’m not yet fully able to express. I feel a deeper, more authentic connection to life, beauty, God, and truth now. I feel like I can reach out and touch the tendrils of meaning that stretch from the pages, reaching desperately for my heart. It’s been a meaningful experience, and I’m so grateful.

Moonlight is the best kiss
on a beautiful face.
It’s the mystery-filled
embrace of a new lover,
whose promise of forever is true.
It’s the heart-bond
of a marriage witnessed
by the heavens of the stars.

“I’ve been afraid to ask the muse for time off. She’s fickle and easily offended, likely to sulk if I don’t give her my complete attention when she’s gracing me with her presence. The literary muse is a sadistic fascist.”

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! We enjoyed a nice evening at home, cuddled up with the pups, watching Call the Midwife. (We’re sort of obsessed with that show.)
I’ve been working on a craft project that has turned into a much larger project than expected, but it’s turning out great! Can’t wait to have it done and be able to enjoy it.
I’m also pondering a new book idea. Not that that’s anything new. The ideas never stop coming, but this one has come from a most unusual source. This quote is a teaser from it. Only time will tell if it’ll take form, but I’m grateful for its presence nonetheless.
Wishing you all a beautiful, inspiring weekend. 🖤
