We Are Water Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 2010 to help solve the world’s water and sanitation crisis.
We believe that telling real human stories is key to raising awareness and driving change. Through powerful documentaries and audiovisual content, we show how the lack of water and sanitation affects millions of lives around the world.
We develop sustainable projects that ensure access to clean water and sanitation in vulnerable communities, and we work to promote a new global water culture based on sustainability, education, human rights and social justice.
Our goal is to inspire action and make the human right to water and sanitation a reality for everyone.

We Are Water Foundation
Hi everyone 👋
We’re excited to open this space to connect with you more directly — to share what moves us behind the camera, what we learn in the field, and the stories we believe are worth telling.
Our latest short documentary takes you to Siquinalá, Guatemala, where families are still rebuilding their lives years after the eruption of the Volcán de Fuego.
It’s not just about recovery — it’s about water, dignity, and the silent strength of those who’ve been left behind.
We filmed this on location with the incredible people who live under the volcano. No voiceover, no scripts — just real life, as it is.
If you’ve watched it already: thank you.
If not, we’ll be sharing more about the shoot, the context, and what stayed with us long after filming.
Let’s keep this space open, human and meaningful.
Feel free to drop your thoughts, questions, or simply say hello.
