“The Cook of Mormon” is an Apron I had to buy. It is the same colors and fonts as one of my favorite books, The Book of Mormon.
For those that don’t know, I am a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I spent a little over two years of my life in the wonderful country of Denmark serving and loving the Danish people. This was easy for me since it is where my grandparents immigrated from in the 50’s so it was like a second home to me.
As a missionary you spend all of your time trying to serve the people, talk about the Church, and try your best as a 19 year old to be a representative of the Church. As I saw this apron it reminded me of The Book of Mormon and the copies we gave to people and the lives it touched. Like the Bible, it is a witness of Christ and you can become a better person from reading it and teach you about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
If you see any missionaries in your areas, be kind and friendly. They are away from their family and friends doing good. A wave and a smile back can mean the world some days. I was in their shoes and as I looked back through the photos I have, they were filled with wonderful memories surrounded by amazing people.
