DSP Throwback
Welcome to DSPThrowback!
I'm DarksydePhil or DSP for short, and I've been making daily gaming content for YouTube for over FIFTEEN years! It's spanned many iterations, styles and channels, and over the years there has been a growing desire to see my old-school content get an upgrade. In some cases certain playthroughs were lost to time and are currently unwatchable anywhere; in others, the original runs were recorded with a digital camera, and were of relatively bad video and audio quality.
The purpose of DSPThrowback is to re-present my older content through a new lens: upscaled, echo-removed, and in longer video lengths with proper thumbnails and playlists. This makes the content more accessible to a modern audience, puts it all into one central place, and protects it for posterity purposes. Enjoy DSPThrowback!
NOTE: The commentary style that I used in the early days of YouTube was immature, irreverent and can be viewed as offensive to some. IT IS NOT who I am today, so enjoy!

BIG UPDATE for all the throwback fans! Resident Evil 5 is about to conclude so I hope you are ready to get warm and cozy for arguably one of the most-needed remasters ever! That's right, it's time for my original Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim playthrough to get a MAJOR upgrade treatment here on DSPThrowback! This one is one of my longest playthroughs EVER so get ready for a long-haul in the snowy dragon-ridden mountains! I can't wait to rewatch this one!

Hello all! So FYI, I'm considering bringing back our Retro React streams in January as a weekly thing! It looks like you had previously voted for us to hang out and enjoy my original, but now remastered Fallout 3 playthrough, so that's likely what we'll do! Also, I hope you're enjoying the newly remastered Mass Effect 1 and Resident Evil 5 playthroughs! RE5 in particular I'm really enjoying watching back, because I don't really remember the game well and it's a classic!

Thanks to EVERYONE who attended, watched and supported my Retro React streams for OVER the last 6+ months here on DSPThrowback! Now that Silent Hill 1 is concluded, were going to give them a bit of a break and they will return sometime in December!
