No videos this week for personal reasons, but I *will* be at #PAXAus this Friday shooting some stuff, hopefully (tech gods willing) also maybe a quick live video -- if you see me, say hello! (I'm the guy who looks like, well... me!)

Another very busy week concludes; this week you could check out my hands-on with the Samsung S95F OLED, work through my guide to making the most of your smartphone's battery or how to quickly change the function of the power/assistant buttons on Android phones, check out my Galaxy A56 review, Pixel 9a unboxing, Pixel 9a vs iPhone 16e vs Galaxy S24 FE camera shootout or my Suunto Aqua review. Phew... that's quite a lot for just five days!

Note: There will be no new content next week, as I'm entirely out of office for a mix of personal and business reasons. But it's not like I haven't left you a fair amount to be getting on with.

As always, thanks for watching, subscribing, and a special thanks and shout out to my Ko-Fi supporters -- become one today here and help me do even more in 2025! ko-fi.com/alexkidman

Got a little busy and forgot to wrap up the week with a post, but if you haven't already, you can check out my reviews last week of the Nothing Phone 3a/3a Pro, the iPhone 16e (and why I consider the iPhone 16 a much better buy), a quick unboxing of the Ebo Air2 and a review of the Oppo Reno13. Coming up this week, at least one phone review, some TV testing and maybe (time permitting) a few smaller gadget reviews.

As always, thanks to all my subscribers, and a reminder that if you do like what I do, please consider becoming a Ko-Fi supporter. Because I like coffee... ko-fi.com/alexkidman

Not quite as busy a week as I might have liked on the video front, for a variety of rather dull reasons. Still, if you haven't, you can check out my Canteen Charity run updates (and donate if you can!), see my report on Apple adding indigenous place names to Australia and Aetearoa New Zealand and watch my full Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra review. The Nothing Phone 3a/3a Pro reviews should go up early next week all things being well, the iPhone 16e has finally turned up and is in testing, and the Oppo Reno13 arrived on my test bench just this afternoon. Plenty to be getting on with...and speaking of which, I'm writing this just before setting off to the Australian IT Journo awards, where I'm up for four individual awards and two site awards -- including one for this very channel!

If you're enjoying my work, please consider becoming a financial supporter through Ko-Fi or Patreon -- details are in the text descriptions of pretty much every single video. And as always if you've got questions to throw my way, do so below -- I'll do my best to help out when I can!

Another quite busy week concludes! If you haven't done so already, this week you can pick from my Galaxy A36 review, my WWE 2K25 review, my Jabra Speak2 75 review, my MacBook Air M4 review or my Oppo Reno13 F review, plus quick news pieces covering Max's launch pricing in Australia and an unboxing of the Poco F7 Ultra!

In the reviews queue at the moment, I'm working on the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, Poco F7 Ultra, Apple iPhone 16e and a couple of other projects I can't talk about yet.

Hey everyone!

Slightly slower week than I would have liked due to ill health, though I should be able to get the Samsung Galaxy A36 review up over the weekend, to go along with the Moto g05 and Moto g15 reviews that I managed to get through this week.

Over at ART, I've also written about EB Games' somewhat surprising decision to start taking retro games in trade-in -- and why I think that's a bad idea for consumers -- so go check that out! Plenty of other products in the review pipeline, including speakers, laptops and a couple of phones that... I can't actually talk about right now. But will be able to quite soon...

Fresh videos incoming -- reviews of the Motorola Moto g05 and g15 respectively, to be followed by the Galaxy A36 review... but I'm going to need a short break as my voice has given out! Back on deck soon (I hope!)

In the meantime, a quick poll. Alex should...

Back on deck after a month off, with lots of content to come -- including a few pieces from where I've been. Stay tuned...

Quick note: Happy to engage, answer questions (where I can) and help out (where I can). If you just want to be abusive, I'm more than likely just going to delete your comment. Constructive criticism is always welcome, personal attacks are not. Now, back to work...

Another busy week winds to a close. Obviously this week's content was dominated by the four different Pixel 9 Pro XL reviews/features/discussions/unboxings -- an approach I won't take for every single phone out there, but I hope that they're useful to different segments of the phone buying public!

Let me know what you think -- and especially of the head-to-head comparative review discussion I had with Leigh Stark from Pickr.com.au -- there's plenty of other knowledgeable Aussie tech journos I could replicate that concept with.
