I’m dedicated to providing you with craft fair tips and tricks to ensure that your next show is a success! This channel will consist of tutorial-based content for artists, crafters, makers, and even organizers who are looking to improve and make the most of every show they attend.
For several years, I presented my artwork at craft fairs in my area. Later, I founded & became co-owner of an art & craft fair organizing business with my family that we operated for a decade.
My goal will always be to bring you the best tips & advice, as well as comprehensive breakdowns on how to plan or participate in an art & craft fair from start to finish so that you head into each show with confidence.

How to Craft Fair
I'm sorry everyone,
I have made the decision to step away from the channel. I have also set up a date in May for my website to go dark. All channel memberships have been removed because I can no longer fulfill perks associated with them.
For 2+ years, I completed what could best be described as an obsessive amount of research when preparing to launch this channel... and once I did, I became a jack-of-all-trades on YouTube for another 2+ years. Like most "small channel creators," I was a researcher, writer, camera operator, lighting tech, video editor, graphic designer, marketer, social media manager, and this, and that, and more, etc etc etc... If I was just coming up with ideas and filming, sure - it would be fun to carry on for a decade or two. However, that is not the case, and burnout is a very real thing for many YouTube creators.
Financially, it actually costs me money to operate How to Craft Fair. My lifetime earnings on YouTube after 3 years and 114 well researched videos is $5,563.92. That is pretax - so my "take home" from that is considerably lower. Please understand that this isn't a "money decision" - rather, it's one of many factors in the decision.
My hope is that people will still visit the channel and watch videos to gain confidence & excitement for their creations and their shows. That has always been #1 for me and I hope you all know that. I can't explain how much your comments throughout the years have meant to me - I still feel like this channel has one of the most positive and helpful comment sections in all of YouTube... and I believe that is a testament to all of you. How you all came here to learn something new and were excited enough to not only give kudos to the channel, but share stories and tips with one another in the comments section for other vendors to see. THAT is what makes this channel special and why I will never, ever delete my videos from this platform. You've got to understand that you all are easily the toughest part of making the decision to step away... I don't want to disappoint anyone and you guys are all SO positive that it hurts to put something that might be a let down out there... but for now, I have to.
This might not be forever - in fact, I kind of doubt it will be... but I don't want to just leave the channel "hanging on" any longer without any action or communication. People have started to reach out - yes I am safe, alive, and moderately healthy lol. I still watch and try to reply to comments that come in - it's the least I can do - so keep em coming! I also have an email account that will stay open.
Not goodbye, but see you later - and in the meantime, don't stop learning, don't stop improving. EVERY day is an opportunity.

I know it's been a while - but Craft Fair Booth Reviews are BACK. Tomorrow I'm debuting the new format for reviews which are rapid-fire 3-minutes videos!!!
I'll admit - I've been having a serious case of creator burnout... for the last 2+ years, for well over 100 videos, I've been researching, scripting, filming, editing, publishing, promoting, etc, etc, etc... but I've been fortunate to enjoy a tremendous summer with my family & friends and I'm feeling reenergized and ready to go!
I'd like your feedback on the short format - I'm trying to cut out any fluff and just GET AFTER IT all while ensuring that I don't burn out to the point to where I want to stop doing this.
Videos under 3 minutes qualify as a "Short" on YouTube, which means the format will switch from horizontal to vertical. Let me know how you feel about this change too!
I will likely also be posting my Booth Reviews directly to TikTok in addition to YouTube. For now, I will not post them directly to Facebook or Instagram.
