There’s one absolute truth that the current villain lacks.
Hands: or in this case genuine prowess, skill, or simply having something that the protagonist doesn’t or can’t have.
You want to know one of the real reasons people don’t like Miles Morales? His rogues (or lack thereof) don’t warrant his abundance of boons and abilities; at times, he has to face characters that absolutely should be out of his league, like Mephisto’s son Blackheart.
Then, according to recent news, Norman Osborn dressed as Spider-Man manages to beat not only Miles but also a few more spider-people in hand-to-hand combat. Even though Osborn is only about 8 times stronger than a normal human (stronger than comic Cap but nowhere near Spidey), he utilizes jumping and a bag of tricks to get the edge. All of those powers, and they suddenly fumbled the bag that hard?
To put it short, what would be the purpose of giving the heroes all these shiny things if evil didn’t condition them to acquire them? Think of it like prehistory and evolution, with how species evolve to survive predators or environmental conditions to get by. The ordeal with verisimilitude is that it’s believable that these people are combating opponents that bring their own advantages and disadvantages in the fight; that drives engagement. If you forsake this, then you dismantle that engagement or even the themes that stories seek to convey when it all seems so simple “to be better” when you keep giving them the kid’s gloves and training wheels.
A scary thought when you realize Sayians (Vegeta notably) in Dragon Ball who are far above the law can mingle into human society better than X-men’s mutants.
It makes you think.

I’m going to take up the stage to explain why the prevailing girl-boss fad should fear the shy, timid, and innocent archetype of woman; for the sake of brevity, I’ll refer to all as the “gentle types.”
•These gentle women don’t appear to hold authority over anyone else, but they prefer to keep it that way because they believe apposing one’s power doesn’t kindle good connections with people.
•The Girlbosses seek glory and attention to be seen as more capable than the men around them; the gentle types don’t seek power but rather admiration for their kindness. As for the men around them, she respects them and even falls into romantic interest with a stronger arm, even if the man in question has a background of crime.
•The gentle types are more forgiving, even towards their enemies. They do take action to stop their cruelty and misdeeds, but they still prefer to treat them as people or talk to figure out what other plans they have. Unlike the girlboss who cares not what their opposition thinks or cares about, they can’t have a say nor figure out what plans are in store. Destroy first, ask questions later.
•These gentlewomen can show the girl boss that the world isn’t a cruel or insignificant place through the people they love (Agape, Mania, and/or Ludus); it helps the gentlewoman build herself as a person, teaches her values or information she never had, increases her potential, and greatly encourages her to get back up and keep going.
•The gentle types are responsible with whatever gifts they’re given and use them to help those around them rather than for themselves. The girlboss archetype focuses primarily on herself, but she’s idolized for tackling the opposition head-on.
•Although the gentle types tend to not hold or harness the means of authority. However, they could persuade those of authority or irrational minds to change their approach without degradation because they know opposing their judgments, like the girlbosses, is far more reckless and incompatible to achieve success and civility.
•The Girlbosses would arrogantly believe they’re cowardly for retreating and fleeing the battle or tending to other matters. However, the gentle types hold the greatest advantage of picking and choosing their fights. When forced into a battle, they use that strategy to manipulate the surrounding environment or utilize cunning to gain the advantage rather than brute-forcing the situation.
•The anger of a gentle girl triumphs over the girlbosses’ boast of wrath; the difference is in how the gentle prefer to hold in that aggression despite whatever treatment they could receive. But when push comes to shove, when the ones they care for is threatened, they strike like a bomb and depart like a storm—it’s more concentrated, focused, and less predictable than the girlboss’ headstrong approach of a berserker.
X-Men were always woke. So why is it that mutants and humanity never found any common ground yet? If this is supposedly the ideologies that promise equality and bringing people together in the supposed utopia, why haven’t they gotten along yet and prefer to keep segregating themselves and living in constant oppression?
Could it be that a certain belief is overshadowing genuine unity and kinship? Could it be that certain beliefs write off humanity as inherently unforgiving because of something they weren’t born for yet are being demanded reparations for? Maybe it has to do with certain mutants involved who would rather perpetuate conflict for their self-interests? Perhaps because the writers involved, who have those same interests, project them into the stories as such so they can rewrite rationality, making the opposing group irrational savages for what they believe?

With all the news about the changes with the Cracker Barrel brings me back to when they took the Jamaican away from the Cinna-Mohn!
And these are the types of the people that want to be inclusive going “in the right direction.”

No, it must be because you’re racist.
