This is probably one of the best cooking videos out right now. It's a great explainer on the vague nature of heat. It's an odd thing I struggle with when I write a recipe, usually because my medium may be someone else's high or low. A recipe can be judged by how how easy it is to replicate and that can be challenging to nail. This should be required viewing by anyone that cooks or writes about cooking.

It's become a bit of a tradition for me to make a video at the end of the year cooking and talking about the most searched recipe. I always enjoy it and they're some of my favorite videos to make, but I'm not going to make one this year. Looking at the list is a huge letdown, it's essentially just Tik Tok trends, and that's not at all what I like to cover.
Good news is that I'll have one more long video before the end of the year. It's a deep dive into all the food and drinks we had in Taiwan, so it's quite the video. Stay tuned for that!
