Bengaluru takes a bold climate step
Out of nearly 600 startups, only 5 were chosen.
🎥 Watch our full video story here:

Five climate startups have been selected under the Namma Bengaluru Challenge 2026 to test real climate solutions on the ground — not in labs.
Each startup gets ₹25 lakh to pilot innovations focused on construction, water, and waste — the city’s biggest pressure points.
From low-carbon building materials and green concrete, to decentralised sewage treatment, plastic-free food packaging, and compostable coconut-leaf straws — Bengaluru is becoming a real-world climate lab.
As heat, water stress, and waste worsen across Indian cities, Bengaluru’s approach could be a template for the future.
Do you think this model can actually work on the ground? 👇
