Bengaluru:
Under the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign, the Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave – Season 3 will be held on December 21, 2025, at the Oxford College Auditorium in Bengaluru. The event is part of a nationwide initiative aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, with similar programs planned in Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Patna over the next four months.
Organisers said that India’s development by 2047 is closely linked to Bihar’s progress, given the state’s large population of nearly 14 crore and its economic challenges. They noted that more than three lakh people from India and abroad have joined the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign, contributing to social, educational, and entrepreneurial development across the state.
So far, the campaign has conducted over 2,300 programs across Bihar, major Indian cities, and international locations. Earlier editions of the Bihar @ 2047 Vision Conclave were held in Delhi in 2023 and 2024, where a comprehensive Vision Document was discussed and later released in August 2025 in Patna. At the Bengaluru conclave, the document will be further refined with expert inputs and public participation.
The conclave will be attended by Bihar Industry Minister Dr. Dilip Jaiswal as the Chief Guest. MLAs Sanjeev Chaurasia, Mithilesh Tiwari, and Rajeev Ranjan Singh, also known as Sonu Singh, will participate as distinguished guests.
Speaking about the objectives, organisers said the Bengaluru conclave aims to connect Biharis living in South India with industry leaders, investors, startup founders, and corporate professionals to promote investment, innovation, and employment generation in Bihar.
As part of upcoming events, the Bihar Development Summit 2026 will be held on January 18, 2026, at T-Hub in Hyderabad, with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary attending as Chief Guest. Another major summit is scheduled on February 22, 2026, at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi, focusing on development-oriented dialogue, education, women empowerment, and public participation.
The campaign currently runs 28 free education centres across Bihar, benefiting around 2,000 underprivileged students, including 23 Gargi Pathshala centres managed by women. Over 15,000 entrepreneurs and 600 startups are actively associated with the initiative, while Jeevak chapters have conducted over 300 free health camps, benefiting more than 50,000 people.
During the press conference in Bengaluru, senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav and several members of the Let’s Inspire Bihar Bengaluru chapter were present.

The Good Doctor: Senior Congress Leader Saves Passenger’s Life During Mid-Air Emergency on IndiGo Flight
New Delhi:
The good doctor, Dr. Anjali Nimbalkar—senior Congress leader and medical professional— saved the life of a 34-year-old woman who suffered a critical medical emergency aboard an IndiGo flight from Goa to Delhi on Tuesday.
Shortly after take-off, a woman passenger suddenly collapsed and lost consciousness, prompting urgent calls for help. Dr. Nimbalkar, who was travelling on the same flight, immediately rushed to assist.
On examination, the passenger was found unconscious with a feeble pulse, cold extremities and minimal response. With only limited medical resources available on board, Dr. Nimbalkar initiated emergency life-saving measures at the passenger’s seat, after which the woman briefly regained consciousness.
The passenger later disclosed that she had been suffering from stomach upset, had not eaten since the previous day, and had taken medication just before boarding. She was given oral rehydration, but within minutes her condition deteriorated again. She turned pale and cold, with barely recordable pulse and blood pressure.
With nearly one and a half hours remaining before landing, Dr. Nimbalkar coordinated with the cabin crew to vacate seats, lay the passenger down and continue resuscitative efforts under extremely challenging conditions. After sustained intervention, the woman’s condition stabilised and her vital signs improved.
Dr. Nimbalkar stayed by the passenger’s side for the remainder of the flight while the IndiGo crew arranged priority landing and an ambulance with medical support at Delhi airport. The woman was rushed to a hospital immediately after landing.
Dr. Nimbalkar later expressed gratitude to the IndiGo cabin crew and pilots of flight 6E 2091 for their prompt coordination and support.
In a remarkable coincidence, the passenger, identified as Jenny, said she is from California, and that her mother-in-law, who lives in Delhi, is also a gynaecologist named Dr. Anjali.
The incident highlights how swift medical expertise and teamwork at 30,000 feet can make the difference between life and death.
