I have to say this. In my most recent best and worst of Maybelline review, I apply three products layered together. A skin tint, a foundation and a highlighter. This combination has proven to be very effective with other brands. I have read quite a few critical comments asking why have I applied 2 or 3 foundations and of course it looks bad, who would apply 3 foundations together or words to that effect.
To those of you making these remarks, just a small few to be sure, you’re rather missing the point of the test and review concept.
If Maybelline market three products as skin tint, foundation and highlighter then it’s reasonable to expect that that is what is in the bottle. Your comments don’t accurately reflect what you are seeing, which is not poor application but is three products behaving in unexpected ways. If you think you are seeing three foundations then doesn’t that tell you something about the products being tested?
