Happy to report my RTV fix on the ball joint boot lasted over 1500 miles this past week. With any luck it will last a lot longer.

Found a pinhole tear in my passenger side upper ball joint boot in my 2500. It was spewing grease all over the knuckle. Cleaned it up, topped off the boot with fresh grease and then used some RTV sealant to try and seal the hole. I applied two thick coats on it, about 5 hours apart. I have a 1400 mile road trip planned this week. Will see how it holds and report back.
