I started as a studio repair technician at Avatar & started a Macbook component level logic board repair business. This channel shows repair & data recovery work & shows how to perform these repairs step by step. There are many things that make it hard to fix things now; willful actions from manufacturers to limit access to parts & schematics. I talked about this to try and spark mainstream recognition of the "Right to Repair" movement.

Restrictions placed on repair were just a canary-in the-coal-mine for many of the anti-ownership, anti-consumer practices that would become common in every industry, which I discuss & try to push back against every day.

I've gotten a few emails about privacy.com sponsorships and I'm not sure if they're a real because they don't come from the domain name of the company. just to put it out there, I don't do paid sponsorships and I never will, but I will happily discuss your company and do an interview with somebody from your company for FREE if you have the time. I have recommended privacy.com to people before because they allow you to create virtual credit cards that make it easy to cancel services that make it hard to cancel. If a gym makes it hard to cancel, you can simply make a virtual credit card, sign up at the virtual card and then click one button and your gym is never charging you again. They can get fucked on all of their requests that you send them certified mail to cancel. Tools like privacy.com are how I keep financial control over my subscriptions.

It would be great to talk about how things have changed and what caused the drive and demand for a service like this to begin with in our fucked up economy.

If somebody is paid to tell you something is good..... it might not be good..... This is the primary reason you will never see me shilling random shit. BUT if that was real and you are actually interested, you know where to find my email!!!

Chris recovered an old helium drive of mine with this helium tank and jig. Got everything. It worked. Wow. Lots to refine, but very pretty!!!

He stayed late to figure it out and smiled while jokingly saying "now I can die!" It's fun to work with people who are as excited about their craft as I was making all those board repair videos from 2013-2021.
