The root problem is that management has lost its way, prioritizing internal metrics, bureaucracy, and short-term gains over delivering real, external results to the people they serve. This is a management problem.

At its core, management is the art of making the strengths of the individual productive and their weaknesses irrelevant. Aligning individual talents with the mission of the organization, and directing that organization to fulfill a need in society. The ultimate goal is to create a society of accountable institutions that function, deliver value, and maintain human dignity for all.
