I served in the United States Air Force as Security Police — guarding B-52 bombers loaded with nuclear deterrents, pulling watch over underground missile silos, and wondering, every single shift, what exactly I'd gotten myself into. My assignments took me to Alaska's frozen wilderness, across Asia's most electric cities, and into remote radar outposts in the Middle East where strange things happened with no witnesses and no explanation. I survived all of it by writing. Capturing the bizarre, the classified-adjacent, and the genuinely unbelievable.
