Getting ready for my first speaking engagement of the year at Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town, and I am diving into a topic that really matters to me: Africa’s path toward stronger, more unified currency systems.
We are living through a global financial reset.
Countries and Currencies people once trusted without question are being re-evaluated, and Bitcoin is no longer just an idea. It is part of a new financial foundation.
I bought my first Bitcoin in 2016 with $20 and a simple mindset, buy low, sell high. My financial advisor at the time told me it was not worth the attention. Fast forward to today, and that small decision turned into one of the most important financial lessons of my life.
What changed most was not just the price. It was my perspective. I stopped seeing Bitcoin as a trade and started seeing it as a tool for sovereignty, especially for Africa.
Across the continent, communities are already using it for remittances, financial access, and greater economic independence. This is bigger than speculation. This is about options, ownership, and the future of money on African terms.
Hey Cape Town creatives, we’re hiring a Content Growth Lead to help drive our social media presence using high level editing skills and AI powered workflows.
This person will not just edit. You will help lead content production, improve performance, and build systems that allow us to scale output without losing quality.
Role details: • Contractor, 20 hours per week • Focus on social video editing, repurposing, and growth • Strong AI tool usage required
Compensation is aligned with experience and impact, with an expected range of approximately R28,000 to R52,000 per month for the right level of operator.
I didn't come here to experiment or explore. I came to commit fully with my career, my capital, and my family's future on the line.
Over the past five years, I've moved beyond theory into tangible, on-the-ground reality: structuring investments, helping secure residencies, building businesses, and cultivating the trusted partnerships that form the foundation of lasting success here.
That deep, personal stake, and the real-world lessons that came with it—is what shapes the Africa Wealth Strategy. It's my proven blueprint forged through firsthand wins, losses, and unwavering commitment.
If this level of intentionality resonates with you, and you're ready to explore whether our blueprint aligns with your long-term wealth and legacy goals—I’d love to schedule sometime to chat.
I’ve been preparing for my first speaking engagement of the year at the Adopting Bitcoin Cape Town conference, and I'm incredibly excited to discuss a topic I deeply value: championing Africa's path toward a single currency.
This comes at a pivotal moment where the global financial landscape is shifting towards multipolarity, and long-held assumptions about stable currencies are being re-examined. In this transformation, Bitcoin has emerged not as a passing trend but as a pillar of the new system.
I can still remember beginning my own journey with Bitcoin back in 2016. My goal was simple: buy low, sell high. At the time, even my financial advisor suggested it wasn't worth paying attention to. But now, a decade later, I've watched it grow by nearly 75% from my initial entry point.
My view has shifted from seeing it as a trading vehicle to understanding its deeper role as a tool for long-term sovereignty. This is exactly why I'm so passionate about its potential for the continent of Africa.
Beyond peer-to-peer transactions, I'm seeing how Bitcoin is already transforming communities across the continent, while being leveraged for financial inclusion, efficient remittances, and as a foundation for greater economic independence.
As I prepare for this important conversation, I'd love to hear from you.
What is one insight about Bitcoin, its use, or its real-world impact, that you wish more people understood?
Ended festive season where tradition, power, and elegance meet, @lkp_ct King’s Plate, Cape Town.
Between the fashion and celebration, the real value was in the conversations. Investors. Founders. People who feel the pull to build in Africa but know much better than to move without strategy.
This year, I am moving with what is aligned, not what is messy.
I trust timing. I trust preparation. And I work with people who understand that wealth is built by risk takers and done with deliberate intention in the midst of uncertainty.
I am selective about who I walk with. Africa rewards those who are grounded, clear, and ready to build something that lasts.
If you are in a season of quiet preparation and this resonates, you may be aligned.
Not just growth, but a calibrated rise in impact, precision, and legacy. My team and I are entering the new year with a clear blueprint that will sharpen our focus, deepen our partnerships, and build systems that don't just serve clients, but transform futures.
We're stepping into higher levels of strategy, service, and sovereign creation and I can’t wait to share this journey with you all.
While many focus solely on financial metrics, the most profound ROI often comes in the form of moments like these: my girls & I enjoying a relaxing day while on safari for the holidays.
A core part of my strategy has always been intentional parenting—showing my daughters the Africa I see: vibrant, boundless, and brimming with future. Beyond market reports and deal flows, this is the life I get to actively invest in for them.
Investing in Africa has never been just about capital allocation for us, it’s about life allocation. It’s the ultimate diversification strategy: not just of assets, but of experience, perspective, and legacy. Here, wealth isn’t just measured on a balance sheet; it’s measured in sunsets witnessed together, in cultures embraced, and in the tangible peace that comes from building a future rooted in purpose.
As I look toward 2026, I’m reminded that the most valuable investments are those that appreciate in memory, strengthen in family, and grow in spirit. This continent continues to offer the world’s most undervalued asset: a quality of life that money alone can’t buy, but that strategic vision can secure.
Here’s to the year ahead—to investing with intention, living with presence, and building legacies that outlast us.
I've just wrapped up my final client sessions of the year.
And I have to say—the energy heading into 2026 is electric. I’ve never seen more clarity, courage, and decisive action from people ready to build their future in Africa.
Africa is no longer the "NEXT" Big Thing. It's THE Big Thing! 🌍
There’s a growing realization. Amidst so much economic uncertainty in the West, people are seeking something solid—something ancient, stable, and quiet that has stood the test of time, no matter what obstacles have been thrown at it.
That place is Africa.
Deep down, my clients knew they deserved more freedom, greater impact, and a lasting legacy. They felt the pull, but the "how" felt complex.
Now, they’re not just dreaming. They’re securing land, building portfolios, and anchoring their generational wealth in a continent built on resilience.
It’s proof that when you align aspiration with a timeless foundation, extraordinary things happen.
Here’s to closing chapters that no longer serve us and building new ones on more stable ground.

Now I want to hear from you. Tell me your biggest barrier to investing in Africa in 2026 👇🏾
Sharing a stage with some of Africa’s biggest change-makers at the 9th Pan African Congress in Togo was a profound honor. 🇹🇬
Standing before that room of leaders, delegates, and our global African family, I felt the weight and the wonder of this moment. The future of Africa is not built by chance. It is built by the deliberate decisions of those who dare to lead, connect, and build, even when the path isn't quite clear.
Five years ago, I left the United States with my two young daughters and no real plan, only a conviction. I felt a spiritual pull toward a continent ready to transform me if I was brave enough to trust her. That trust has led me here.
This journey has meant walking African soil, listening to her people, partnering with governments, relocating families, and creating pathways for investors and entrepreneurs. It has taught me that our power lies in dismantling the fear that keeps us scattered and, instead, coordinating our strengths.
The amusing part of it all was that just days before, when several colleagues pulled out, I seriously considered not going. The uncertainty made it easy to question the trip, and I wondered if I even deserved a seat at the table. But I have learned that conviction must outlast convenience. So I went. And in doing so, I was reminded that when you move in faith, doors open that you never saw coming. I left having expanded my network deep into West Africa and connected with policymakers and builders who have the potential to be true partners in this mission.
My address centered on three commitments we must make:
1. Liberation of mind and identity- freeing ourselves from narratives that shrink our potential.
2. Strategic economic alignment- building clear systems for capital, talent, and innovation to flow within Africa.
3. Courageous, spiritually grounded leadership -leading not only with strategy but with responsibility and vision.
To every leader and visionary feeling the pull toward the continent: your presence matters. Never forget that showing up, especially in the face of uncertainty, is often the most powerful step you’ll ever take.

New year… Same mission.
This work has never been about transactions… It’s about trust.
It’s about turning doubters into believers.
It’s about turning complex landscapes into clear, intentional pathways.
It’s about mapping out the blueprints to the life you always wanted, but were too afraid to execute.
& I love that for me… and you too ☺️
Here’s to another year of building what matters… with intention, with courage, and with unwavering belief in the future we’re intentionally building.
Wishing you a year of bold moves, meaningful progress, and abundant opportunities.
