Real talk. New video going to to be posted hopefully in the coming weeks, maybe February. The blur on the old Moomin videos is spreading, I think they're trying to consume the full videos and leave me with nothing. It's all I can do to even keep them slightly visible for now, even have the audio at the very least heard for people who want it. Yes, I will be trying to fix this, make new videos to replace them, but those videos are beyond repair, We Are Era seem completely hostile towards my content and have been petty enough to block/demonetize my videos over single seconds, they've done it before. A lot is about to be shaken up. Big changes are on the way. I'm about to kick this channel back into gear, so I hope you guys are ready. I can't succumb to defeat, I have to keep fighting, no matter how difficult this continues to be.

I've gotta level with you guys, or at least, the people who will actually see this post, because Youtube doesn't like making sure communities see people their subbed to's posts. 2023 has been kinda hellish for me, and not just in regards to Youtube, creating content for this site, or the drawbacks that entails. I've been struggling with my art, my streams have been up and down, some of my interpersonal relationships have fallen apart, my finances have been a situation that has caused a lot of stress, and it's been Youtube that really hasn't been holding back in that regard. Sure, my art has struggled, but I can work with that. My streams have been up and down, but they've been keeping me together and moving forward, for the most part. Some of my relationships have come to an end, but that has given me a chance to think about what I want in my life, and work towards better overall mental health. Sure, my financial stability has caused a lot of stress, but the amount of support I've received from my community has helped keep me and my household's heads above the water. But Youtube?

While scripting my next video, talking about what's going to happen going forward, I got slapped with more demonetization, and more videos getting blocked out of nowhere. It hurts, and the spite can only propel me forward for so long, and that fire of spite doesn't burn long enough for me to get it done, and then it's back to where we were. I've been struggling this whole year, and where as all of the other things have had leniency, Youtube just keeps kicking me down. Like I said before, I'm not done here. I'm GOING to get this all fixed. I'm going to be re-uploading a lot of videos at some point, mainly because you guys want to see it, despite the struggle against Youtube. I want this channel to stop being dead, but I've got a lot of work to do. Stay tuned for my next video on the matter.

Until then... Well, I don't normally do this, but I want to make a shoutout. A good dude that goes by Zito, aka CzBacklash on this site has a plushie on Makeship that still needs to make it to funding. And that's 4 more videos claimed at the exact same moment. LITERALLY. WHILE. I was making a video about how bad this shit has gotten, and how many videos have been claimed how many times, and about my plans on what to do going forward.

You can't script this shit! I'm so fucking close to just being done.

Yes, I'm going to try to get this fixed, but I don't have the energy to blur those videos tonight. I don't have the energy to even finish making this video. I don't even think this current version of this video even fits how I'm feeling about this situation anymore.

I'm so drained.

They're going to keep this up until all of my videos are completely blurred. I'm finding it hard to even continue making this video right now.

Before this, I had the energy to go forward, to record those reactions, but the second I start feeling ANY kind of second wind, they sweep my legs out from under me. I can only pick myself up so many times! No, I DON'T know what I'm going to do going forward anymore.

4 videos claimed in the same day, including the most recent episode. Apperently We Are Era Nordics is just out for my head.

Now I'm having to blur so much of the videos in Youtube's god awful proprietary editor, then wait for re-processing to get done, so I can hope that more hasn't been claimed, and I can actually get paid for my hard work, and keep food on the table, because this is literally my only option, other than just outright chopping entire sections out of the video. I can't dispute it, I've tried, they don't care about transformative content, they don't care about fair use.

I can't lie, this is part of the reason I've been steadily falling out of Youtube. I can't stand butchering my videos like this, days, weeks, months, and years after having them posted in a form I'm happy with. This website does not facilitate a good environment for creatives, and seemingly, it's just getting worse.
