Well, hello hello to my first TWO channel members! Thank you both so much for choosing to support my channel. The next couple member-exclusive videos will continue to cover the background/behind-the-scenes of "The Untold Story of Funky Kong," but please let me know if there are any topics or questions you would specifically like to see me address or make a video about.
And to everyone else, I'd say I'm about two weeks from beginning editing/production on the Wrinkly Kong Lore video, with the main question remaining largely concerning the video's format; basically, while centered around Wrinkly Kong, the video really covers three different ideas. So, I'm trying to decide whether to make one long video, like Funky Kong, or three shorter videos in a series (and then maybe uploading them all as one after the fact).
Anyway, thank you to everyone who enjoyed the new, shorter Funky Kong follow-up, and hopefully I'll have a new video for you to watch soon, regarding another member of the Kong family.
Well, "The Untold Story of Funky Kong" has now reached over 200,000 views, and I once said that I would make a video about Lanky Kong if such a landmark was ever achieved. While my drafts for a Lanky Kong video haven't been panning out how I'd like, I do have two new Donkey Kong videos currently in the works:
1. A brief follow-up to the original Funky Kong video, covering the primate pilot's whereabouts during Donkey Kong Bananza.
2. An enormous explication of Wrinkly Kong's death and resurrection, and how the supernatural forces that extended her life (or, rather, her afterlife) may run deeper into Donkey Kong Lore than you could ever imagine.
The Funky Kong follow-up should be out in about a week, give or take any setbacks in production. The Wrinkly Kong video is still a ways away, though will hopefully be finished around September or October.

I'm blown away by the response to my Dragon Ball video; thank you so much to everyone who watched and commented. I truly love talkin' Ball with people, so the fact that I got to spend nearly every day of December responding to fellow fans and discussing one of my favorite series is a privilege that I do not take for granted.
As for what's next...
I am currently working on a rank of all of the wishes from Dragon Ball Super, which I HOPE to have out by the end of January or early February. I'm currently behind-schedule on that due to having COVID for about a week and a half. I'm also going on vacation with family next week, where I won't be working on anything, but my goal is a January/February release.
After that, I can say for the FIRST TIME on this channel that I actually want to continue pursuing a particular topic--in this case: Dragon Ball. I am working on about three-to-four additional scripts, and I would LOVE to release a video about every month to month-and-a-half, but we'll see how that shakes out. I'd also like to stream Kakarot, or perhaps even the Legacy of Goku series, just to chat with viewers and hang out.
All I can say for now is to stay tuned. Thank you so much for the support thus far, and hopefully I'll have another video out before you know it :)
I checked in on my analytics this morning to see that THE FUTURE OF THE MOTHER SERIES has reached over 25,000 views. When I first made this video, I told myself I would be happy if it even reached 250. I'm so surprised, but also so happy, to have reached a personal milestone I never knew was possible. 25K is small potatoes for some content creators, but to me, it's a number I can barely wrap my head around. To be honest, I can barely fathom that 700 people have subscribed to this channel, but I'm thankful for everyone who has.
I haven't been able to produce as much content for my channel as I've wanted this year. This is partially due to health issues, partially due to an ongoing job search, and partially due to plain old fashioned difficulties with being consistently creative and productive. My goal in September was to create two more videos by the end of the year. I'm not sure if I'll reach that goal at this point, but I will say I'm excited for what's on the horizon. I am working all the time at becoming more consistent in my process, because that is more than half the battle--it's practically the entire battle.
Anyway, if you're reading this community post, and if you like my videos, I just want to say thank you so much. I think you'll enjoy what's in the pipeline. I don't want to spoil the subject matter of the upcoming videos, but I have one traditional video essay in the works, one long-form review, and the Frog by Frog series also back in production. I keep telling myself to not worry too much about timeliness, and to simply focus on making videos I am proud of.
Typically I don't believe in talking about what I'm working on, or getting too navel-gazey about creative output, because time and time again, I find that I lose motivation for finishing something once I've spoken about it. But I can't deny that seeing so many views on something I made is simply and truly a dream come true, especially in what has been a bit of a cloudy time for me.
So with all that said, thank you again for celebrating the Mother series with me. I hope you have an excellent day, and if you've never read Dracula you totally should because it is actually hilarious LOL

I haven't been able to produce as much content for my channel as I've wanted this year.
